Here's a new one on me--FBA refund initiated on "item not received." The order shipped yesterday. Anything I can do about this? It's FBA. Seems like a real scam waiting to happen on bigger items if Amazon just okays this nonsense.

I'm not a lawyer and I haven't gotten a letter. I just liked some of the tips on their site. Was it a specific product line or IP on the letter?

Funny I read this today... just tonight I received a refund message because "order not received"--and it was fulfilled by FBA. I didn't think FBA orders were refunded out of our balance for items not received, but I sure paid the price on this one... sheesh.

Lego is all about that guessing game. Brick Fanatics lists will change from time to time. A lot of those are poor sellers--if they did better, they'd probably be dropped from the retiring list.

I agree about the pirate ships and castles, but the fan in me loves that LEGO made the Galaxy Explorer. Much better than the BS Wizards of the Coast are pulling for Magic: the Gathering's 30th anniversary, but I digress. The Galaxy Explorer will likely flounder after retirement, but I have mine and am happy with that.

I've actually had receipts work one other time. I'm curious why they want a year's worth of invoices, too. Mixed shipment and invoices for a year for the same products. Big PITA.

Has anyone had trouble when submitting Amazon invoices to FBA for this reason? I just don't want to wander into a trap. I'll eat the cost before that.

So... FBA lost the entire contents of a shipment (again). After "working on it" for two weeks, they now want invoices for the FNSKUs in the shipment for ALL the shipments with those FNSKUs I've sent in the last 12 months. Has anyone had to do this before? It's going to be a major PITA.

They don't always weigh them at my UPS drop off...

As a (former) teacher and (former) slush reader at a literary magazine, I can agree on the 99% will still not do exactly what they need to do to be successful. Like, "why do I have to follow the submission guidelines like everyone else?" "Why do I have to follow the directions for this assignment?" Time will always reward hard work and persistence and following good advice. Most people can't do one of the three, let alone all of them.

So I've noticed this lately in the Amazon Seller App: When I manage inventory, an item might say I a number available, but I still see an "Out of Stock" alert. Has anyone else seen this--?

Let's talk vanishing Buy Box. My old friend "the internet" seems to be little conflicted as to why the buy box vanishes for some items. Does anyone here know the deep dark secret? For example, the main listing for 75246, Death Star Cannon is usually without buy box. Any insight is welcome!

I always leave it blank. I don't assign my own SKUs.

In the retail world, this is all shrinkage. It sucks, but brick and mortar stores have to deal with shoplifting, supplier fraud, damaged/outdated product, employee theft, accounting errors (cash counting, etc.). The cost of doing business with Amazon is the cost of business. And yes, bendoverandtakeit@amazon.com should be a popular email address. 💩
