Anyone in the UK received an invitation to this event as reported by Brickfanatics.
It states:
They are opening the local LEGO store one hour early so those invited plus one guest can have the first opportunity to take advantage of the latest offers;
Free LEGO wall calendar with purchases over £15
Free Gingerbread house with purchases over £60
Discount on all purchases of £100 or more
Plus selected sets on sale
Is it UK only or worldwide? And which other branches have sent out invitations?
Anyone had any luck getting these in the UK? Can't seem to see them on the UK TRU site and don't want to travel all the way to a retail store until it is confirmed available. Saw a comment saying they are supposed to be starting today (1st November) but nothing heard from TRU themselves
Just a heads up for fellow UK AFOLs, the Argos 3 for 2 on toys will start again next month starting on Friday 6th November until Tuesday 10th November. This will include both online and in-store purchases.
Yeah really wanted to get the Indominous Rex but none anywhere near me. Only 1 Scooby Doo Mansion found. Surprised so easy to get all the Star Wars sets, was expecting those to go first.
So anyone heard anything more about it? Not sure if I buy online from other retailers or wait for the official updated LEGO release. I can't believe no one else is talking about the error if there is indeed one.
OK, went into Lego store Bluewater today and was told they had it in stock but cannot sell it because of a printing issue. Not seen anything about this so can anyone confirm? The person could not say what the printing error was though.
While waiting for my post to be approved I just found this: http://news.lugnet.com/general/?******=44305
So the record is 163 possibly 165. Which I think is amazing. Beats buying them on Bricklink (unless you go for Used ones)
Hi I was wondering what is the maximum number of 2x4 bricks that can be fitted in a large PAB cup. Obviously any gaps will be filled with smaller pieces. Hoping someone has tried before.
Missed out going to Bluewater today. I'm sure signed copies by Peter Reid would have been worth a bit more. I see a few on eBay already. What is the retail price by the way?
