  1. Just opened my order of 2 tumblers from Walmart.ca. I'm 99.99% sure that I got their last two. Anyway, they came in the official Lego box (2 per) and they're both minty fresh. Seal codes are 41R5. FYI to anyone who cares.
  2. Sold another 21103 Delorean for $150 CAD plus shipping. Man, should have bough case loads of these things. $27 buy-in.
  3. Sold a 21103 Delorean for $136 CAD shipped. Not bad.
  4. Just sold one on BL for $136 CAD including shipping. I'm pretty happy with that.
  5. I haven't received any tracking numbers yet, but here's hoping! I'm in Canada, not sure where you are, but usually takes longer for us up here for some reason.
  6. Snagged 3 75111 Darth Vaders from LEGO Shop at Home. I think these will be hot for Christmas.
  7. Same issues for me here in Canada. Called them to inquire and they are aware of the issues and a report (or several) have been sent. Said it should be up fairly soon, but that was 3 hours ago. Just tried again and no luck.
  8. Pulled the trigger on 5 SW advent calendars from LEGO Shop at Home.
  9. From what I remember, the original email said something like "the package will have a tracking number and after its delivered, Lego's part is done". I guess I'm just wondering if we wait now until it arrives? I guess so huh?
  10. Has anyone received a follow-up email from Lego regarding shipping? I'm just curious to know if we get to use the tracking info that the original email stated, or if it's just so that they have confirmation of delivery.
  11. Just bought 2 DS from Walmart...thanks for the info. I'll be returning the 2 I got from TRU a week ago when the price was $550. Pretty much $100 cheaper from Walmart because of free shipping, I'm cool with that!
  12. Picked up... 2 WALL-E's (21303) at a local TRU (only 2 there, stacked away behind other sets) 4 Rainforest animals (31031) and a complete set of Mixels series 4 at London Drugs all 15% off, plus if you spend $50, you get a $10 gift card, so it kinda works out to 35% off depending on how you use the gift card. One of the best deals I've seen in BC Canada in recent years. If only London Drugs had a decent selection of Lego, that's the problem lol. 4 3 packs of Star Wars Microfighters series 2 from Costco. These should do well come Christmas.
  13. I'm in BC Canada and headed to a toys'r'us nearby today. Secretly hoping I would see some WALL-E on the shelves, I was positive that there wouldn't be any. Not only is it August 28th (pre-release), but being in Canada, we seem to be behind and poorly stocked compared to the U.S., however, after going through all the shelves and moving various sets, I found 2 MISB WALL-E sets. Needless to say, I was flabergasted. I snapped them up right away and there was no issue purchasing them. Didn't have any coupons or anything today, but I'm at home looking at them as I write this. I plan on building one of them soon and will update with what I see in terms of quality control.
  14. I just go the e-mail this morning. I'm thrilled to say the least, however, I'm wondering why you guys got it at the beginning of the month and I only got it now. Cause I'm in Canada maybe? Thoughts? Maybe I was next in line cause someone didn't claim their's or perhaps they were ineligible? Either way...I'm stoked!!!
  15. Yes. Listed separately, but sold together.
  16. Sold a Hobbit Unexpected Gathering 79003, and a Barrel Escape 79004 for $212 CAD shipped. Not a bad return, was $55 in for the gathering and $30 for the escape. Shipping was $27, so a profit of $100. I'm pretty happy :)
  17. Birds available on Amazon.com...retail, but available.
  18. Just picked up 4 at TRU.ca for about $10/CAD each after air miles voucher redemption. Feeling pretty good about that!
  19. Picked up 3 NISB 79003's (Hobbit: An unexpected gathering) and 1 76013 (Joker Steamroller) in a local CL deal today for $200 CAD. I'm pretty happy with that, especially getting the 79003's for an average of $55/each, at least in this stage of its life.
  20. Great article. I'm very much in the same boat, so I'll use some of the info that you listed here when I'm ready to sell. Thanks!
  21. Is the RR poly that is being mentioned the Robin Redbird cycle? If so, what kinds of prices are you fetching right now? Specifically in local sales, thanks!
  22. Lol...DO IT!
  23. That's great info, thanks for taking the time to write that all out...both of you. I figured you'd say as much, but you've given me several things to think about, and it will definitely help. Local is always the best, but I'm sure as you already know, depending on how big a city you live in, it can take quite a while to find a buyer. Anyway, still learning the "eBay selling game". Thanks for the great info!
  24. Hi all. Just a quick question or two for all you Canadian guys. I've been in the investing game for about 5 years now. I consider myself to be a long term investor, but have done a few local quick flips over the years. What do you guys find is the best way to ship? Using eBay? Are there any tricks or deals to be had? I just sold my first thing a couple weeks ago on eBay and because eBay told me to definitely have a tracking number, it cost me a fortune just to send a couple pieces of paper into the U.S. Of course I know it's my fault cause I offered free shipping, but let's say I'm going to sell a GE and want to compete with some of our fellow U.S. sellers...how can I with Canada Post charging me an arm and a leg just to ship it into the U.S.? What do you guys do to compete with free shipping and stuff like that? Thanks so much for your feedback, I really appreciate it. If anyone else wants to chime in, weather they're in Canada or not, I'm all ears.
  25. Thanks. Yeah, I need to pick me up a bat signal. That would be a nice touch.
