  1. Ive had this as well, I google the address, one buyer showed me a Lord OF the Rings pirate ship that was bent beyond recognition. The only thing strong enough to bend those thick parts would be a truck or sledge hammer, he was going to give me a break and only wanted %80 of the value back, I messaged him a lot with the end goal in mind and him baiting himself, then used those messages in ebay to challenge his refund req and won. Dont get mad early, just get them to talk and incriminate themselves for you.
  2. My Ohio Krogs typically went 50% min off, sometimes %80, my two Krogs in TX are completely different. One goes %50 off initially, the other does a palty %20, then pulls them to the rear storage behind the store for a few months to later bring them to a clearance table for %40 max.
  3. Kroger 50% off advent and TONS of other stuff. Will these advents even resell next year. Ive always seen them sell out except for this year.
  4. I see you lock away the RMOs and helmet I use 6 Ikea Detolfs and seal up the sides with corner protector from Home Depot. I have to use gaffers tape to keep it "locked" so the 3yr old doesnt get into them. All helmets, models, Star Wars and difficult to rebuild sets go in, otherwise Godzilla will completely destroy everything. Its about 400 lbs of glass on the cases with extra glass shelving so military moves get interesting.
  5. I love the iconic 70s style ships, looks like the top cannon was redesigned to not fall apart. Does it include a pilot that can't jink left or right to evade fighters?
  6. Its a really nice motorcycle in that set. who needs a Dino anyways.
  7. Sure enough back in stock and bavk to previous 63$. odd
  8. It shows out of stock, I may try a cust svc chat when it come back in stock.

  10. Uncheck Hawaii PR and AK on your ebay ship to list. theyre dangerous for eating free shipping.
  11. Target 63.99 imperial shuttle
  12. Kroger has 20% off most sets. nothing like Amazon though
  13. Picked up a Sandcrawler on sale, some batwings and a dr who. all for my family. my houston store is slow. not much traffic even at 8am. Are Airjitsus that good? Locally my kroger does 50-80% off sets so the 50% off police station wasnt that juicy.
  14. Hit the B&M store in Houston last BF at 0500. Scored AT ATs, fire station and some other items with lots of gingerbread houses, sold half, kept the other half. All in all a great score as the main line was at the Starbucks and not Lego, fools. Overpriced coffee at $37. It seems this year will be BORING, I even swapped a work shift to be off in hopes of a great score, I may still go since I have nothing else to do in the morning and pray there are hidden gems. It would be very unEuropean for LEGO to change sales this late in the game.
  15. pretty cool Tiger, I am going to add some battery operated purple LED lights to mine.
  16. Still perusing Amazon..........nothing to bite on. Though I did have a new Super Kroger with a whole Lego aisle open .5 miles from my house today, oooooh 80% clearance here I come.
  17. they just did a clearance a few weeks ago and that included a shelf reset, any onesie twosie items were marked down 90% if they werent restocked. Nabbed soem HALO guys and other small toys for birthday parties. I imagine their next clearance is in July/Aug.
  18. 50 for a city set with no special parts like large ship hulls or cockpits etc? wow. Ambitious.
  19. could be delivered to a neighbor, for some reason UPS and USPS mix my neighborhood up, makes a great way to get to know each other but who would have thought that a houses address was in a sequential and close number to the other houses on the street. The buyer can have theft or a lousy roommate. Lots of circumstances. It is not the sellers fault, Id feel bad too. I had one buyer note : "request insurance and damage coverage because I live in a bad area and a lot of packages get stolen" I replied that I recommended he buy from a closer seller as I could not guarantee a package being mint being so many states away and I cant guarantee theft from a porch. He bought it anyways but at least it was documented in our emails. I bought some stuff from China a few years back, about 10 items in an order, but several items were missing, the seller wanted to know the weight of the bag to see and sure enough it was lighter than the items I bought. Ebay changed my missing items not received claim to Not As Described and to get a refund Id have to return them, WTF ebay? I never got them to begin with. So there's a whole other side to Ebays handing of things. I DO wish there was at least a neutral feedback for buyers though, give a seller something to see if a buyer is dishonest in his dealings.
  20. And I thought it;d be a bust this season. Here in S.Texas the shelves are still packed full. for some reason the post wont let me attach a 1mb photo.
  21. Dont say it Sand. Most havent seen the movie YET. I am wondering if my local Houston Costco has it, hope so.
  22. True. I am thinking a longer hold on early Ninjago and Chima sets may pay off if the series is becoming popular in Asia now.
  23. Same with me Cig, I had lots of Chima stuff for a looong time, and now its flying off the shelves but to Korean buyers. Is there something I dont know, seems Koreans love Chima.
  24. just pictures of those VERY bent thick parts. No box photos as he knows there is no chance of a Return due to being on an island or S.America likely. Instead they want cash back. They never noted they used a reshipper, I know they are omitting this on purpose and feel its slightly dishonest judging by all their purchase history on Ebay. I worked in molding, plastics machinery etc... and to bend the plastic on a reinforced LEGO part that thick is easily a hundred pounds of force. Im venturing it was run over by a truck. I came across this thread in searching: http://community.ebay.com/t5/Archive-Selling/Buyer-trying-to-scam-me/td-p/22800149/highlight/true I feel for them, but In the end, the buyer can buy international and pay full international shipping with insurance from an Ebay seller who does that, if they opt for a CONUS shipping and no chance of insurance they accept the risk of cheaper stuff but no recourse. The buyer knows the risk and game theyre playing with a courier/reshipper. I lived in Bulgaria a while, and have been deployed to remote a@@ whateverISTAN bases and Ive seen boxes smashed to bits upon arrival or stuff obviously stolen. such is the game when a box leaves the Shire.
