  1. I’ve had this exact same situation a few times unfortunately. Unless they swear in the feedback Amazon won’t remove it, even where they’ve ruled against the buyer’s claim. So it hangs on you. Best you can do is describe what happened in a public response. I’ve outright called the buyer a fraudster and explained what they were trying to do and that Amazon denied their claim. If nothing else it at least puts people on notice that you’re not an easy mark. I had one guy leave me a 1 star review and his comment was clearly about a completely unrelated product he bought from someone else, and yet that stays on my record. Not sure if it was legit confusion on his part or if he was a competitor using some sneaky way of leaving a negative feedback but Amazon won’t even remove that despite the error in the feedback.
  2. I’ve had a few like that as well. I send pictures of the before and after to Amazon and they have taken my side, though it helped that the buyer kept changing their story from box damages, to massively damaged, to didn’t get the box…… pick a lane dude. Sadly, even a win is fleeting as they left negative feedback, but I responded by summarizing how they were scammers and Amazon refused their claim.
  3. Haven’t received this email here in Canada, but had slower sales this year and had already begun slowing down my buying because of that. I only sell 8-12 items a month in a good month. Already turned my settings to vacation mode a few weeks ago when our national postal service went on strike. I get a lot of orders from very rural areas which were affordable at Canada Post standard rates but other shippers charge way too much for this to be profitable for me. So already missing the best sales time of the year and maybe Amazon has a new years surprise for me.
  4. Here’s a new one. Got a one star negative review from a buyer whining about his delayed delivery of curtain rods, which is not the Lego set I sold him. Of course this doesn’t fit within the criteria to have it removed by the Amazon review bots. It lets me send a message to the buyer but it’s a standard form letter asking if everything has been resolved satisfactorily. All I could do after that was leave a response explaining his error. Geez
  5. Probably the point. Heard a statement on John Stewart this week that Amazon fees can account for half of the price of an item lately.
  6. Just got a return because the buyer said he was expecting a two pack. Nothing in the title or many pictures suggests any such thing. Apparently there’s a reference to two pack in the colour field, and so this weirdo thought that entitled him to some unspecified extra set. Really hoping the seals weren’t professionally lifted and then resealed.

Jazz Club shows sold out. Indigo had 30-50% off a lot of sets the other week. Wallet hurting
  8. Wal-mart goes dirty. Found these on a couple of sets I bought there yesterday for myself. They do not come off without tearing the surface, making resale a problem.
  9. This won’t be the textbook response but I had that happen 3 months ago. They even tried to claim against me but I disputed their story as it had a bunch of holes (first it was never received, then it was received but missing pieces, then empty entirely). They left a 1 star and my pubic response was to accuse them of being a fraudster trying to get a minifigure for free and I mentioned how Amazon denied their claim. My sales dropped a bit after but didn’t mind taking the hit to ruin a thief’s day
  10. Have to be selective on these themes. Made a killing on Aragog’s Lair from that wave. Picked up a few of the Thestral set out currently due to unique figures and creatures.
  11. I also wonder if this is a US only thing. I’m in Canada, 100% FBM, and no email, no change in my listings. Haven’t tried listing anything new yet. I notice that these weird policies they inflict in the US occasionally tend not to happen here at the same time if at all.
  12. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. First sale in 10 days just happened. Even more spooky, it’s a set I overbought and so was thinking of lowering the price this morning. Thank you St Bezos
  13. Most of the layoffs are in the web services and HR area.
  14. Same. I’m small fish and usually sell 3 sets a week on Amazon but nothing since second week of March which was just before our March Break and then the bank collapse. Normal for March Break. Hoping the bank jitters don’t make people rein in spending. Their money would be safer in bricks to be honest.
