  1. Finished this fella. Have no clue what to do with it, as I really don’t have the space to keep it built.

  2. Finished this up tonight. My son did about 90% of it, which is very good for him.

  4. Here's 2016's Christmas LEGO haul in our family... Daddy on the left, daughter in the middle, son on the right. Kids got iPhones so the LEGO took a backseat.

  5. Just in the nick (pun intended) of time, here's our Christmas train circling our tree. We only used spare pieces from last year's full setup (which is still on display in the basement) so the bridge looks a little unfinished. Train makes a big circle around the tree (straight-curve-straight-curve style).

  6. This is an older deal, but I just found out about it and don't think I've seen it posted here before, so... Download the free Swych app. Search for Toys"R"Us - manually add $25 gift card to cart. Add promo code FLASH to promo field. You get a $25 TRU gift card for $17.50.

  8. So long as there is more demand from buyers than stock from resellers, you´ll be fine, but we could say that about any item these days. Merry Christmas everyone!

  9. Have to hope for the best and i am given that it was only 15 mins between it happening and her getting medical treatment on the ground. I had a Heart attack 3 years ago which then turned into a cardiac arrest whilst I was being operated on but because I got help within a very short space of time (45 mins from it starting), I was able to make a full recovery and since then been able to lead a normal life and even ran a marathon this past year. The only way you can tell that I ever had an incident is two small puncture marks on my right wrist which they used to unblock two arteries and put in some stents. The wonders of medical science hence why I'm hopeful for her.

  12. They wouldn't do that to me. BAM and I are tight. Right, BAM? Edit: NM. Just got an order update from BAM. Apparently we're not that tight after all. Looks like coal in the stocking tomorrow for booksamillion.com. Santa doesn't like folks who list items for sale that they don't actually have in stock...

  14. My son is really into Titanfall right now. This is not the building set you're looking for. I wanted to quit about 1/3 the way through. Took much longer than it should have, but I would not let it defeat me. A big waste of money, since it's flimsy and he won't play with it long.

  17. I hope so. The recent silly sales on it in the UK have not pleased me too much, but they did go pretty quickly (hoping there wasn't TOO much stock left). Merry Crimbo to you too, and all the other fellow Brickpickers

  19. The lousy pricing is great news. The last thing we want when trying to sell retired sets for 2 x MSRP is new sets that are $.05 per piece or something. I'd be thrilled if the new Death Star were MSRP $599.

  21. Holy cow....I just looked her up! That's nuts series 10 is not even that old. I started at series 10 and I am glad I didn't miss that one for my personal collection. Looking at Whitefang's review there were only 2 of them in every box of 60 making her a rarer fig.....that combined with the popularity of the "animal mascot" themed figs helps keep demand up. But still that is nuts to be selling for that much. Also yes! love that song and music video

  22. Not built yet but Santa brought my son Jokerland, Cargo Train and A-Wing Vader Tie. Santa is a Brickpicker so I'm sure he got them about 40% off.

  23. Me too. Super Heroes and Friends are easy passes at anything less than 50%. But that's just my happy point in resale.

  26. Ahh, you could always sell it to me

  27. If I would sell in overseas, I would have done the same. But I do not want to sell for 180 Euro, if the price at LEGO Shop at Home was 120 Euro... That's not even 50% margin, if you consider those prices. I stepped in at 70 Euro nevertheless, but why should I throw my money down the drain?

  28. Investors seem to be loving the RRP White Houses B & N has listed on eBay, judging by the 5 at a time purchases. Only another 650 to go now...

  35. I finally finished our Christmas village scene today. It has the Winter Toy Shop, Santa’s Workshop, a polybag snowman build, the 2015 toy train (the Lego giveaway) and this year’s reindeer polybag build in it. The seeds I planted for more pine tree spouted nicely over the course of this year. I was planning on putting the Fairground Mixer in the scene, but my kids said it was closed for the winter season!

  37. you guys are clueless about star wars fandom if you think that a (hypothesized) AT-ACT is going to make a dent in the price of an out of production retired OT Hoth AT-AT. you're talking apples and oranges. almost like saying Poe's X-wing should have dented 9493's price. the ship has sailed for non-1%er Timmy to get his AT-AT until 2018ish when it is inevitably re-released. between now and then, the intestinal fortitude of the reseller will determine the price on this set. it was a year ago today that i bought my last 75054's from amazon. sniff ... sniff. they grow up so fast...

  39. Colloseum would be awesome would Lego approve it given its purpose? I don't think they'd do Sagrada Familia as it's a religious building, although they have included St Pauls Cathedral in London Skyline so maybe they are softening a bit.

  40. How about a Roman Coliseum or the Sagrada Familia instead?
