Decent day today: Lord Business Evil Lair - $21 (PM at TRU to a local WM) Metalbeard's Duel - $29 (Target PM to their own website) 2x Ninjago MechDragon for $20 each Complete set of the $15 Speed Champion race cars I wasn't impressed with the Speed Champions, but saw them today and was really wow'd. I really like this! I decided I *needed* these for my desk at work.2 points

found a 9493 in store today at TRU, 36R4 for those interested. Forced me to get another jedi cruiser to get the cost down with the BOGO 40 deal.2 points

Free shipping doesn't really skew the cost of business much more if you build it into the price correctly. Always play it on the high side and then reap the rewards if someone buys the item in the same zone as you. It also gives you more room to work with if you have "Best Offer" enabled. If they are in the same zone as you, it gives you more wiggle room to negotiate.2 points

Sold 3 this week at 220, 225 and 230. Shipped and on eBay. They seem to have jumped in price a bit this week. Will hold onto my last one for awhile to compare it with LEGOs new model.1 point

220 shipped on Amazon. About what I was getting for them when they went oos after Christmas. Figured I'd cash out and run since my buy in was $100 or so. Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app1 point

I'm just glad the 'dreaded sticker effect' did not affect the minifigures like last time LEGO had the Ferrari license where even the characters needed stickers for their torso details. I'm not a fan of the need for stickers at all but I must say they did a great job capturing most of the essential body lines enough to where the vehicles look smooth enough on their own and stickers are not really required. The new tires, hubcaps, mudguards, and windscreen pieces are super sweet.1 point

Bah, that's nothing. When I foresaw a snowstorm coming, I would simply take a floor full of Creative Towers and move them to another floor, then move them back to where they were. Then do pushups with my hands and feet on Creative Towers while my girl stacked Creative Towers on my back! Challenge yourself, I've seen your stash Ex Astris, Scientia.1 point

I have had this set since I bought it in 2006 and we have built it with the kids each Holiday season. I added the motor in 2007 and is has been part of oir winter village display ever since and the kids still love. Great set!1 point

A couple of my tower orders shipped. Is there a Brickpicker group rate for the leading US divorce attorney?1 point

agreed on the Speed Champions, in person they really looked great. Only had 1 of the cars and my daughter claimed that one. I got the turck and Porsche pit stop. Also bought some Porta Potty trucks. That should be the next Snow Plow in my opinion. Had a 9493 on the shelf and paired it with a Jedi Cruiser to take advantage of the promo. Stopped by LEGO store as well and picked up a damaged ToO, Maersk, and 2 exos.1 point

It at least means they are getting their new plan-o-grams to set up the shelves with the new March 2015 stuff. In a perfect world yes it would mean they should be moving some LEGO to a clearance section, however when they actually re price the stuff is another thing entirely. Still waiting for the stuff in a couple locations to actually have a clearance price in the clearance section.. However i was able to find 1 location with some good deals: Ninjago City $75 Benny - $75 Mos Eisley - $501 point

Um, that would be "The Princess Bride", an hour and forty minutes of back to back one liners.1 point

It would seem that every time someone at Lego proposes retiring DS, a higher-up replies 'Evacuate now, in our moment of triumph? I think you overestimate their chances!'. And so a new production run begins... At the least, it would be nice for 10240 to take down 10188 on its way out.1 point

This set is more than awesome! And as much as I would like to buy one right now. Even with the extra wintersoldier. I think there are more urgent sets to acquire now. So I will wait and concentrate on the other exclusives. I hate to admit it. But I cannot afford one right now.1 point

*ahem* I have more than 300 TH in stock. My european friends, sell your TH, you will not make profits anymore when I'll decide to enter the game. (alright, my 3x TH should do well after this post)1 point

good news now is you can priority mail a lot of the larger sets in your close zones for $10-13. So in essence as long as they even out in the long run it takes the sting out of it. Strange when you can send a SSD type package to Ohio for $10-12 yet sending a ToO out west is $25-30 with the dimensional charge I still leave it all free as it does seem to balance out to what I have mentally figured in to the cost.1 point

Normally the people learn at first the common speech of a foreign language, like "How are you?" or "One beer please" or perhaps some bad abuses But the first german word that all Brickpickers know is "LIMITIERT"1 point

The new one will be superior in design than 7965, but it will also come with several "hidden mickeys" that will be integral to the stability of the build Oh and a smaller cockpit that barely fits 1 minifig, to make it in scale1 point
