Yes. Thought I was going to be the only one. I love the MINI Cooper, Ecto, Sandcrawler, all of them, but the Cantina is the one that I want the most to build and for the great figures in it. For your viewing pleasure.2 points

Personal collection? I only collect money. I want the set that brings the highest return. Straight cash homey2 points

Ok, I think this mini-set deserves its own topic. I'm not sure that US members are all aware about its existence. Remember the classic LEGO Space1 point

Well, when the entire population of Lego store employees is included, they do know more than we do. The problem is that the word of any one particular employee cannot be trusted 100%. On average, I think the opinion of a random employee should be given about +25% on the WOBLES (Wray's Official Believability of Lego EOL Scale1 point

I think the color scheme with the "racing green" and tan interior is great.1 point

First rule of lego investing...never let what a lego store employee tells you influence your buying decisions. They don't know any more about eol than you or I do. For all you know, this store was probably sitting on a pile of pet shops and he told you that hoping to move a few of them.1 point

It's the only set with a 45 degree 2x4 slope in bright pink, only one with the 8x16 tile in dark red, only one with a hand cart trolley in dark pink, one of three with the half large barrel container in medium blue, one of three with the 1x1 clip holder brick in medium blue, one of two with the latticed window pane in medium blue, one of two with a 7x3 bars with double clips in medium blue, one of three with the 1x1x3 vertical double clip holder in yellow, one of three with the 1x1x5 brick in yellow, one of six with the 1x12x3 archway in tan, and the only set with the unique jockey outfit. Aside from those, nothing too outstanding. That's a pricy veterinarian. Then again, that sounds about normal price for a regular checkup. Haha.1 point

FWIW about a year ago I paid $300 for them from ToysRUs during a BOGO 50% deal that lastest about 24 hours.1 point

Ugh, I'm so torn. I'd love to get a few more, but it's harder to justify the drain on my pocketbook at $500.1 point

Order a few. Get codes .. Return to store. Every experiment needs a guinea pig... I kid . I kid1 point

I can't speak of ebay pricing, etc, but if you do it online at FedEx or via your FedEx shipping software it will do it.1 point

Hello, recently one my closest friends dogs was involved in a hit and run that severely injured her. She will require extensive surgery and a long recovery period for her to start working normally again. I will just post the link over here to see if anyone in the forum is interested in donating even $5 or so, they are getting close to the goal, so every little bit helps. https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/gc05/willow-s-surgery-fund?utm_source=facebook1 point

You still could have made money on it. As far as Stable v Vet, vet is the winner. The vet is hitting $90 already. I'm hoping for $125+ at xmas.1 point

her original asking price was $3500, my powers of persuasion and bargaining got the final total down to $12201 point

I made a post about it, was this it? http://community.brickpicker.com/topic/10225-lego-customer-service-issues/?p=282108 To answer the original question, I would say the Tumbler. The Brickshow guys reference the Tumbler in their review of the UCS Batmobile, but I don't think there was any new information.1 point

He was referring to the new ISD that will be released this summer. No SSD1 point

I went to the local GameStop in Southington, CT USA today and simply asked if there was any more Western Emmet from the Lego Day they had a couple months ago. The manager gave me one for free and said "we've been trying to give these away!". I was two days late on the remaining Good Morning Bilbo Baggins leftovers.1 point

I, too, am B-Wing-less. I wish I had one. The B-Wing was always my favorite ship of the Original Trilogy. I loved the B-Wing so much that for 5 years, I had a personalized plate on my car that read "B WING"1 point

This is too hilarious. When I was on vacation with my family at LegoLand Florida, they have a whole store dedicated to Chima. I felt sorry for the people working inside that place. Must be really boring. I told everyone in my family about the person who posted that if your buying from shop at home to throw in some Chima with your order as Lego would not possibly believe that a reseller would buy Chima from them. VBG. I still laugh about that. Whoever posted that if you see this, please let me know. It is one of the most memorable 2014 posts on brickpicker.1 point

Totally looks like you robbed a storage unit there. Even if you paid for it - clearly robbery. lol.1 point

Not silly at all. Unfortunately I don't know. i have not tried as I ship Fedex every once in a while and just print out the label when I do. Last time I found a ton of info just using google on the DYMO series and learned all this on the forums. I would try that because I feel like I saw some people before saying there was a way.1 point

I own this! There's actually 400 of these. 80 per tour and there were 5 (I think?) tours. Okay, I'm done bragging now.1 point

I agree with you rcdb. While the collector in me will set my Mini purchase date to get the free poly, I'm not seeing a great build here. The mini-camper was much nicer. This build reminds me of a lot of small, generic City cars for some reason. Similar build structure and look at first glance. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker1 point

Scored all this off Craigslist for $75 today. Haven't checked to make sure all pieces are there but it seems like solid deal even missing a bunch. Soccer: 3403, 3408, 3409, 3411 Rock raiders: 4990, 4980, 4950, 4970, 4940 Technic Robo Riders: 8509, 8510, 8511, 8512, 8513, 8514 Random others: 8252, 5956, 6454, 8238, 7130 Plus a few pirates/islanders without instructions. It will only disappear when they release Olivia's Sinkhole. I too am awaiting its retirement, but the summer riding camp is sticking around even though sunshine ranch has been out for awhile now. Olivia's house doesn't have a similar replacement and everyone needs a house.1 point
