I couldn't endorse hiding sets no matter what the success rate is. Knowingly hiding a toy so children couldn't possibly access it doesn't seem conscionable. I suppose people will do what they want and justify things the way they see fit. I've always viewed Lego as a toy that should be accessible to everyone, not hidden from children or parents trying to buy a toy their child wants.

Also I woulndn't broadcast that your son is Batman. Probably a lot of people that will treat him differently.

I was able to pick up 5 more today at two separate targets in the Dallas area...So whats the consensus on this set? What could it be going for by Christmas?

I found a whole pile of 7207 Fire Boats earlier this year. I've assisted them in finding better homes.

Got it today. 100% Complete, sealed bags and mint instructions.

I just talked to them last week about getting my limit raised and if I remember correctly they said they have the ability to raise it by 50% (Value and number of items) once every thirty days. They review the account to make sure everything is good and you haven't had any issues and then raise it if everything checks out. Hope that helps...

Guys, let's try not to s$%t up another thread with another ethics class. Everybody is going to address Lego investing differently, and have different tactics. I'm sure hiding Lego throughout the store is another of a long list of avenues that have been taken in getting the almightly Lego set. If you want to start another topic about "Lego Hiding", go for it, but this thread is about Target and their discounts for the Summer.

That's a fair point, and one I'm not completely opposed to. I don't hide things myself, but ironically I did hide stuff as a kid, when I didn't have enough allowance to buy all the stuff I wanted during a trip to KB and hoped that last one or two items would still be in stock the next time I came around. Makes me wonder how many of these sets are stashed by kiddos because Mom said "maybe next time".

Hold it Josh, unless you REALLY want to build it. Trust me, the box really does not make as much of a difference as sometimes is talked about here. I have sold a couple of damaged boxes for exactly the same as MISB ones were going for.

They basically go to the amazon site then sign into there seller account. From there you have your seller central page and you can control inventories as well as everything else involved with your amazon selling. No different really than when you sign into your my ebay. You can list quantity all the way up to 999. It does stop taking orders when quantity hits zero. When it gets to zero it gets pushed to inactive inventory. From there the seller would have had to manually relist it to get it back into active inventory. They cancelled the orders the way they did in an attempt to salvage there seller rating. Marking it as a buyer cancellation doesnt hurt there metrics that bad. Seller Cancellations on the other hand are not good for there metrics and will lower there overall seller rating. If it gets to low they run the risk of being audited and perhaps barred. Amazon is quick to kick out problem sellers and isnt big on giving 2nd chances. I went and looked up this seller. His feedback # for the last 365 days was like 1890. Feedback on amazon runs about 10%. Which means this seller processes about 20000 orders a year. Seems like this seller screwed something up in his inventory very badly over blatantly trying to scam. Still the end result for all of us is another black eye. Most of us here are already secondary market sellers or will be at some point. Situations like this one and the imperial shuttle are bad for our businesses.

I mean this with no disrespect to you at all: Of all LEGO sets that we have discussions about, this is probably the one with the most threads. There's got to be one this info would've fit into. That said, I'm pretty sure this is done. Most people are sure it's done. Some have reported Orc Forge labels reappearing on their Target shelves, so we might see one more round of stock in some areas, but I think it's drying up quickly. This is one of the few sets I bought at full retail to avoid a potential "The Zombies" level of boat missing.
