So true it hurts. I feel like there’s some hope with the BL Designer program cranking out classic hits ($$$). Based on a recent interview with a BL LEGO rep, it looks like we may get some smaller sets ($$) that are hopefully nostalgic too. Worried we won’t see anymore classics in the main line or GWP/Insider lanes. I ordered the Shield in hopes to add it to a castle moc, maybe with mtron magnets. You could do the same with the space logo to a ship.

He is saying groundbreaking “innards”

The 1st two pics makes the set look like a mid-tier build, but the innards shown in the last one clearly differentiates. OBV I don't own this car so i have no impression to it other "cool exotic". As nice as it is, LEGO seems to be trending with these mega exotics in this line..at some point they all look the same. I rather they go back to their roots and go back to the orange Porsche (i.e super cars that one may actually see live one day...on the streets)

My 15 year old son likes the Eldorado. Out of all the nostalgia sets this one would have benefited from a lower price point. Kids aren’t really into space nowadays so I get why the Galaxy Explorer flopped despite a great price point. Lion Knights Castle is just too expensive.

Based on what I can tell with the sales on the space minifigure sets, I think the group of us that care about Lego nostalgia is diminishing. I have been collecting Mtron and Ice Planet figs, but have now come across numerous untouched boxes of them which I think will hit clearance now. Also when you compare El Dorado to Barracuda Bay which was 15$ less the value is not great. For what it's worth I am still grabbing these sets because worse case scenario I will enjoy them /:) – Just picked up some more Eldorado today from Target.

Air pillows and hot days are not a good mix. I order singles hoping to get FF boxes. Sometimes Amazon will combine single orders and throw 3 FF boxes into 1 larger box. Target and BB just smash the sets in to make them fit. Hopefully it is one of those short shelf life under the radar sets. Kinda hard though when YouTubers are putting out buy alert videos on Eldorado. I love it, I'm going to make a second one on the back gate as well to ward off enemies. I always put all my weapons above my doorway so robbers can use them against me.
