    In the designer reveal video they stated that the learned from the "UCS" Hogwarts Express that people wanted a train that fit on real tracks so they downsized the original locomotive submission and included 2 cars instead of one. But what good is it if the train fits on lego tracks but can not be motorized? Perhaps they will get it right on the next train set.

    I got four separate orders in, each with a single SV, but now it won’t add to my cart. Limit is 20 so I’m not sure if they’ve fixed the glitch or if they put me in a time out. Other sets included in the $10/$50 promo still add to my cart, like the City Mobile Crane for example. Is anyone else still able to get the SV with the double $10 coupon to apply?     I was really looking forward to this set, but looks like a miss. Funny that Lego will use the slow sales of the UCS Hogwarts Express and this Ideas set as 'proof' that Creator Expert trains are not worth the effort.

    I'm sorry, but that engine looks terrible. Price seems absurdly high for an Ideas set too. Easy pass. Keep it up LEGO, I need to scale back in 2024 😂

    i don't think lego really knows how to make motorized trains anymore outside of the city sets that come around every 5 years or so. i don't really understand these statue sets, but apparently they sell well enough that they keep making them.

    World of Wonders can be had for cheap on BL. It is a nice set in a real box but if points are limited and you already have one I would pass. I would estimate how much you plan on spending during 2X VIP and make sure you leave enough points to get the castle if and when it pops up.

    well cheapest camera is 43 and cheapest world of wonders is 39 so both doing decent : ) guessing both better than tin ornament ? Watch me skip the ornament and it ends up being the most valuable

    The first thought that popped in my head as the photo came up was Polar Express because of the blue cars and white tops. Although quite a bit different side by side. Anyone know why they chose blue? A lot of the images up to this point seemed to be leaning green. Edit: I see now, the original campaign had a green engine/tender and the car was a dark blue. Sort of like the original better.
