  1. Are you sure it's worth going to all the trouble? I'm not sure what else you have if the airport is the flagship. Isn't there an airport available ALL the time? Maybe you have a rare airport. I don't know about City stuff, it just doesn't do anything for me so not sure about the secondary market.
  2. This series looks great. The goat and that Knight will be super popular. Expect to find many open boxes .
  3. Decided it was time to splurge on this one ... bought it a few weeks back from an EU Bricklink seller, arrived today ...
  4. Winter Market Stall looks meh.
  5. Our family tradition is to build the current year's modular building on Christmas day. Since I already have the Jazz Club ready to build, no need to rush out to get the Museum Nevertheless, I would probably jump on it early for double VIP points and the Hotdog Van GWP.
  6. Pictures of instruction books would help.
  7. David Lynch is definitely good at portraying sadism on screen. It’s also the reason I don’t revisit his movies in my older age. Same goes for Paul Verhoeven though rewatching Total Recall recently was a trip. They don’t make ‘‘em like they use to.
  8. For me it’s the heart plug scene. Not even in the book. Saw this in theater when I was ten years old. Completely unnecessary horror element that still disturbs me today. I believe Temple of Doom was released the same year but the heart ripping scene always struck me more as fantasy whereas Dune somehow seemed more realistic and gruesome.

This is correct. Peak demand was around Easter 2021 and a decent bump again during 2021 holiday season. Toy market has been all downhill since then and the companies kept producing at Covid demand levels. Not to mention all the delayed shipments of stuff that was overproduced and arrived after the demand was gone. Lately, it seems like a lot of licensed stuff (Star Wars, Marvel, etc.) is suffering from lack of interest in the underlying movies/TV shows. Seems like a strange crossroads in pop culture history right now.
  10. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/natural-history-museum-10326 I would wait until Wednesday to get Galileo or possibly December the Modular Hot Dog van GWP, but the 2X VIP plus Majisto's Magical Workshop plus Winter Market looks best.
  11. I find that a lot of the modular buildings, starting with Detective Office need an extra floor as they've shrunk but added more small pieces. Yay LEGO!
  12. It will be easier and faster to sell as a single lot, but you're not going to get the best price. If you inventory each set and build it individually to sell, you will make more, but it will take more effort and you could end up with some remnants after you've sold all the good stuff.
  13. For the first time maybe ever, I don't have any of the modulars on the box.

I've got a tale of woe concerning Fleet Farm. First, let me say that my major beef is with FedEx Ground. But Fleet Farm is flavoring the issue. Recently, FedEx Ground has taken to delivering packages in my yard, about 150 feet (and out of sight) of my front door and 5 feet from a busy road. In the past, I've always had Fleet Farm deliver to my store so it hasn't been an issue. But, for some stupid reason, I had my recent LEGO order with them delivered to my home. Problem 1: When Fleet Farm ships, they do not publish the tracking number. You have to make a call to their CS to get tracking. So I had no idea how and when my package would be delivered. Once I checked, I found that the package had been delivered two days earlier and left in my yard (by virtue of their delivery photo.) Of course, it was gone when I looked for it. I file a claim with FedEx and they admit an issue. But, Fleet Farm, being the shipper, had to file the claim. If Fleet Farm would file the claim then they could replace/ refund and FedEx would reimburse them. Problem 2: Fleet Farm CS flunkie stated "Oh, we don't do that. It isn't our problem since FedEx delivered the package but just not to your liking." I explained to the woman that FedEx has admitted fault and would reimburse but, with them being the shipper, they had to be the one to initiate the paperwork. She refused to do so. Lesson learned: If you order from Fleet Farm, know that they will leave you out to dry on any shipping issues.
