I've just finished building it, and here's a pic of it next to some of the other smaller UCS sets. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, upon weighing the Landspeeder, it is actually the heaviest of these four models. I had been worried that it would succumb to shrinkflation, but apparently not.

It's right on top of the email they sent: We’re bringing back the Ulysses Space Probe set for anyone who missed out last year! We only have a limited number, so if you got one in 2021, you won’t be able to redeem points for it this time. And despite their IT being not that good (to put it mildly), they managed this exclusion in the past when redemptions came back (e.g. coins).

I'll believe that after I try again and fail! Heard this repeated so much, I'm almost convinced it's a conspiracy rumor started by those who redeemed already and just want less competition tomorrow.

It's been on pretty much every list so far. I didn't have one, so it's a keeper or a shot in the dark. Not when your 14 grandchildren also have accounts.

Looking back, it was the Fiat Posters that caused the trouble for me. So I took that to mean any VIP redemption will cause problems, cash or gift. But maybe cash is fine. Would be good to know. Looking forward to exciter's report.

Everything I was interested in BTTF, Horizon is OOS or not out yet, Optimus. Will wait until tomorrow in hopes of grabbing another Ulysses to add to this order and grab another Blacksmith now that the limit was upped to 5.

I had some cases of Masters of the Universe Origins figures that came in the European packaging for some reason. Only took one person to claim "Fake" in their return comments and it triggered an inauthentic complaint. Got it removed with my invoice in a few hours, but you would probably not have an invoice for Lego. Probably less than a 10% chance of someone complaining, but it is up to your risk tolerance.

It is a risk if you are selling that many. Minimal, but it only takes a couple complaints for the wheels to come off

Most likely my last post on this thread. I sold my last 21104 for $800 FBM back in November 2021. This was by far the best investment I ever made. I would go as far as putting 21104 as the PERFECT set for investment. Everything about & around this set just worked beautifully to support it's aftermarket value. This was also 1 of a few sets that I endorsed for investment back in the day (the other ones cratered in value, which stopped me from blabbering my mouth ) Obviously I still have a lot to learn since I only sold 1 copy for $800. This was supposed to be my personal copy and/or an experiment to see how long it would take to 20x (my avg cost was $38). Over the years, the majority of my stash were sold at $400 price range. So 7 years to reach 20x, not bad Here is to the best set I ever own. I highly doubt there will be another one as good as 21104

I learned how easy it was to sell on Amazon when item was priced to lose money. Also, to make sure the price was set correctly before pressing the OK button.

You can only redeem the Ulysses once. So if you got it the first time then you’re out this time.
