Finished rough sorting a 40+ lb haul from a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to piece sets together. A few key pieces missing here and there, which I will eventually BL, but overall a great start on numerous 80's-90's sets.

The process used to be relatively quick but since Covid things go into limbo. Customer reasons? You will never know. Yes, you may see the reason "selected". Often times Amazon simply returns the items to you regardless. I think it's just easier for a lazy employee to deem the item unsellable then put back into inventory.

Sometimes the customer reason will be included in comments with the return, but often not. The returned item appears once it arrives and has been checked back into a FC. Sometimes this is a long, long time. It's condition is judged once it is accepted at the warehouse. Depending on the items value, you may want to create a removal order to carefully inspect the item before allowing it to be resold. Yes, Amazon can replace an item with one from your inventory. It all depends on what the customer asked for when processing the return (e.g. refund or replacement).

That picture is not the actual set. “Similar to the room in the previously-released Death Star models (pictured above).” Might be crap, but it's not a for sure yet!

After 3 1/2 months of living in Orlando, dealing with hockey, regular life, unpacking, etc. And then trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to do with my man cave/office space, I finally started on the proof of concept. Will replicate that on the left (need to buy another Besta cabinet at IKEA). I want to put shelves and doors on the bottom storage. Not quite sure how I’m going to do the stuff above the shelf yet. The bottom will be for storage and unfinished projects. The shelf will be for the LEGO city, and then display shelves (?) will be above the city.

This was an excellent build experience. Some great snot building, well balanced color scheme and fun play features. The trap door and main door/winch are probably my 2 favorite features Could be a top 5 build. Interesting how many 'extra' pieces are included.

Another weekend another modular. Doing these has me appreciating numbered bags. Not being able to find that one piece in a sea of Lego drives me crazy. A few times I pulled a piece from my stash only to have it turn up later one the pile thinned. GE was the first modular I went double digits on. Think it was still on shelves when I first built it. Love the green window frames. The ads for other sets in the manual are fantastic. Such a cool time in brickpicking.

You guys that live near Disney have it too easy. Went to the store in Disney Springs while I waited for my kids band to perform. So...much..stuff! Picked up a few that I've been trying to stockpile and I could carry with me.

We made an offer on another house with 15% down and an escalation clause. We'll see what happens with Round 2. Fingers crossed.

Two more rebuilt over the past week. Change the pet shop into my local spca shelter that we foster for. Been wanting to do that forever. Have to order more mils stuff. Lots more to go…

Another nice cl score. Got him down to $380. He had a lot of offers on individual sets but wanted to move the whole lot. Picked up last night. Pulled the haunted house for myself & listed the rest for $380. Just accepted an offer of $360, they are driving 90 minutes to pickup. Could have done a bit better but an easy hh for $20, cant beat that.

just built this one. I know the set doesn't get a lot of love but I hadn't built any truly TECHNIC since coming out of dark ages and wanted to make sure I still enjoyed the process before moving on to some larger builds in my backlog.
