  4. Agree, Rosario Dawson makes a much better Ahsoka.
  5. A female coworker asked me what BrickFest was because one of her Bumble dates had a photo with the BrickFest logo in it. Long story short, I eventually mentioned the term AFOL and here was her guess as to what that stood for 🤣

  9. I haven't, but sometimes you just gotta let toys be toys and kids be kids and let it go.

  12. T2 is 2022 as things stand currently. Mustang is 2023. Brick Fanatics are reporting accurately, but it's only January.
  13. Last summer I built a castle MOC that covered 6 baseplates. It was my most ambitious project to date and I acquired a lot of new parts for it. I had a lot of fun building but eventually lost interest - it was going to take another significant round of investment and more space to keep it progressing, so I got it to a "good enough" stage and stopped. Anyway, I spent at least 8 hours yesterday and today finally breaking the thing down, sorting all the parts, and figuring out new storage for all the addition parts. I have some Akro Mills containers I use for my BL store, but these are harder to find at a good price right now, so I got a few Craftsman small parts containers from Lowes and am very happy with them. But man, breaking it all down sure felt like work, whew!

  17. Razor Crest off the list! I recall it being on the 2021 list at some point, then pushed to 2022. Now 2023? What's with the Amazon Star Wars exclusives? The DV Castle was around forever as well.
  18. It's not expected to retire until December. And with the flood of helmets out there, I expect to get more than 20% off later this year.
  19. That is the designer of the Castle in the Forest set.
  20. Yep, I went through something similar when my kid wanted to start trading Pokémon cards with her friends. Just gotta let them do their thing. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  21. Back down to $48 with a limit of 20.
  22. So is the vocabulary
  23. That's a pretty accurate depiction of my emotions watching it last night. I did a little clap seeing R2. Smiled and said "yeah!" when I saw Luke. Yelled "Whoa!" when I saw Ahsoka. Then yelled out "it's the Blue F'ing Cowboy" when Cad Bane showed up.
  24. I really need to go dig out some Cad Bane minifigs from my aging SW lots - his time has come.
  25. I thought the CGI was the best I had seen to date, but it works much better when he's not talking. Once the mouth starts moving I become more aware of how lifeless he seems. Another thing I couldn't shake last night was Luke's voice - I kept thinking to myself that for someone with decades of experience as a voice actor, Mark Hamill was really delivering the lines in a dispassionate, clunky way. Then I found out today that his voice was completely synthesized. Strikes me as a classic example that just because you have technology doesn't mean you should use it.
  26. I continue to proceed with caution when activating exclusive offers with honey. Most of the time I don't receive the gold offered in the exclusive offer, but rather receive whatever is the standard percentage at the time. I now have a folder and subfolders created just for sorting screenshots to track the offer before activation, after activation and whether or not I received the offered gold. I've resorted to only contacting customer service about it when it is enough money to be worth my time because I've found they don't always respond.
  27. John Wayne will be back, so they can cancel him again.
  28. Man that sums it up for me too. I wanted to look past it, and for most CGI I can, but I just couldn't get my brain to cooperate.
  29. F yeah. Why did Luke do more cool things here, than in 3 ST movies?
  30. I really enjoyed today's episode. Even though once again the best episodes so far haven't featured Boba Fett at all. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  31. Episode 6 is a landmark in Star Wars lore.
  32. Buy Buy Buy, if you want it to Stay Stay Stay
  33. Right, because LEGO never does that at all.
  34. I am in the same boat. I would have backed it up if I knew it was going to be down for this long.
  35. I love how people suggested we should be running a dual tracking system. I'm just curious, not for tax purposes, but this site was how I was tracking what sets I owned and how many of them I had if more than one. I have since moved to an excel spreadsheet and inventoried a bunch of rubber maids and boxes full of stuff; but I did have all my dates and purchases prices stored here. I don't have receipts lying around from 10 years ago except for a few types of items like my homes, automobiles and jewelry. I'm a selective collector not an investor, the site attracted me because I could quickly update purchases. Plus I actually found sets from my childhood. Remember when firemen had multiple swivels on their arms and you built there body from 2x2 blocks? I found that and a few others in the attic. The site was useful to show me that I was missing a lot of pieces if I wanted to make it complete.
  36. Worse - They are all going to come back "Woke".
