Good advice and thank you! I'm loving the Saturn V but as a newbie, I'm slow (but steady). I read a very helpful Amazon review on this particular build that emphasized the need to follow the directions exactly and make sure all parts are perfectly fit before continuing on. It's easy to see how some folks would not pay attention to the details and then complain that the kit is "defective". This reviewer was commenting, point by point, on those who gave the kit one star.

That was me that suggested trying a smaller set first. If you enjoy the Saturn V (same designer) then the Titanic should be a great next build.

I think you will find on this forum that price is what governs most people's decisions here. If speed is what is important to you, order from Amazon.

Not sure about North america, but in UK, depending on area and time of the year, it isn't uncommon for lego to take up to 3/4 days to dispatch. For me, normal dispatch time is 1 / 2 days. I think most people have just gotten used to amazon prime and that is now the defacto benchmark, when in reality waiting afew days for delivery is ok.

1-4 is Harry and 5-8 are Hermione (6 bags total each) there are 2 instruction books so you can sell them as individual figures with no box to make the real big money.

There are only one bag for #3 and 4?

Have been wondering the same. Lego lists the value at $10, which seems high for what it is. 113 pieces, no minifig. That should be a $5 poly with $40 buy-in. And even if you accept a $10 value, a $10 gwp should have a lower buy-in than $120.

Well, you always get 5%, so the tradeoff is $30 vs GWP. But there are occasions with both GWP and double vip. And I assume the Titanic will have a long run, so one can be patient.

for a GWP just give me a LEGO door and two minifgures, but the instructions should state that when the door is laid down, only 1 minifigure can fit on it.
