My two contributions to the discussion. My wife smoked pot every day in high school and still got good grades. She's a divorce attorney now. Arguments with a spouse who's a lawyer is the worst!7 points

I hate to “like” your post, but I’m glad you’ve decided to share your journey with us. In my experience, finding a doctor or two who decides your “mystery” illness is something they are called to solve is a very good thing.6 points

Let us keep the mudslinging to a minimum please. The subject for the past few pages may not be to everyone's liking but at least the general tone and language used for the most part has read like a discussion going back & forth. However when members instead start attacking each other over the conversation, the topic will be locked. And honestly I rather not have that. There is plenty wrong as there is right in the world. This topic is a place to talk with each other about such things. Not amplify them unto one another.6 points

Getting answers at this point is probably one of the best outcomes. I'm still praying for you and the doctors working with you to determine a course of treatment to restore your health in full.4 points

Ah, hmmmm. I was under the impression we were talking about covers by legitimate bands? Beatles, G&N, U2, Motley Crue to Retrowave & Serchen??? If you're going there then I gotta go here:2 points

I'd really like to see someone make some stop motion animation with this set recreating funny scenes from the show. It's only a matter of time!2 points

no need to cite a study saying bacon is bad for you...you're not getting any arguments: anything THAT good has to be bad you1 point

Bacon falls under the red meat category , which the WHO classifies as a group 1 carcinogen. Basically all processed or red meat increases your risk for certain types of colon cancer. Here’s the source study the WHO cited: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanonc/article/PIIS1470-2045%2815%2900444-1/fulltext Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I have so many covers in my playlist and half what I posted on this thread were covers I try to post something that most people are familiar with since half the fun is knowing how different (or similar) the cover is to the original1 point

I cut my sales off a week earlier than normal last Christmas and would do the same this year. They haven't fixed anything. It will be just as bad if not worse this year.1 point

Nothing specific, but I followed along on the main seller central forums and it looks like the easiest way people can get it is going through their own personal insurance first. The big caveat is finding a plan that meets Amazon's criteria. Most say that it isn't too expensive. Just another hoop to jump through. The main thing is if Amazon requests it because of a claim, you then have 7 days to respond, so that's annoying.1 point

After the Post Office mess that seemed to start during Thanksgiving weekend last year, I banned myself from FBM during the Holidays last year. Not worth the hassles and constant customer messages. I have zero faith that they have corrected anything this year. I wish Amazon carrier vans could come do daily pickups for us!1 point

I've been downloading barcode scanner apps that have an inventory system. I'm hoping to scan in when I acquire and then scan out when I sell. I just started exploring this idea and the different apps so no opinions yet on the matter.1 point

We were. I just have a bad habit of flying right off the track. Haha. Sorry about that. I guess things would eventually go in that direction but I could have at least waited a bit. Then again I would not have seen that MattyBRaps clip. That was adorable. Alrighty then. I found a couple covers by more legitimate bands between Asking Alexandria.... And a live performance by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. This last one is, sorry, I can't help myself.1 point

95% complete and excellent condition. Those two things don't go together; it's like saying I'm selling you 95% of a table in excellent condition but the other 5% vanished but don't worry about it. Yay LEGO!1 point

https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/research-reports/marijuana/what-are-marijuanas-long-term-effects-brain On a side note, I worked at a class-3 airport with a guy who bragged about how much marijuana he smoked in his younger years. He is the only pilot I know to crash a plane - not once, but twice. Frist time - he landed a 9-passenger twin engine with the gear up. Destroyed the aircraft but he and the co-pilot walked away. You can argue the co-pilot should have caught the error, but he didn't and was fired. The pilot quit after the crash landing. The second time - same guy (working for the same company 10 years later... *facepalm*) ran out of gas and again destroyed an aircraft, ripping one of the mains completely out of the wing and another prop strike. He claimed he didn't know that engine was a high-performance engine burning 10 gal/hr instead of the stock 8 gal/hr. Except, in order to be checked out to fly solo in any aircraft, you need to know everything about the aircraft especially how fast it burns gas. I worked the ground crew and even I knew how fast that aircraft burned gas. In the end, they blamed the mechanic and somehow this pilot kept his license. We jokingly called the guy "brain damaged". We would even sing it to the James Bond theme song for Goldfinger. "They call him Brain Damaged ..."1 point

Aren't compliance requests so much fun? I gave up selling on AMZ as this was a completely impossible task to take care of and with the constant hassle and lack of help, I got nowhere after multiple attempts. Good luck to ya'....1 point

The Shuttle is still under construction but with assistance from my wife we hung the ISS. The ISS is an already fiddly model so hanging it with fishing line and hooks (drilled into studs in the ceiling) was a bit of a challenge. Big props to my wife for making it happen. I love the illusion of it in low orbit in my home office. 🤓1 point

I took over my kids’ old train table and used the base of it for my train creation build. I combined the 60197 City Passenger Train with two Spider-Man: Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle sets and thanks to the various clearance threads from this community I did not pay full price for any of it. The bridge supports are Black Support 2 x 2 x 10 Girder Triangular Vertical - Type 4 - 3 Posts, 3 Sections on 8 x 8 plates. The station stairs are Black Stairs 7 x 4 x 6 Straight Open pieces. I am pleased with the way it turned and I drew my inspiration from the train builds I saw on this site. Thanks fellow BrickPickers! It would have been helpful if I turned off the basement lights before taking this picture so the colors are darker/more vibrant. (Insert face palm emoji.)1 point

I've got two used pairs of Ghost & Phantom Rebels sets...got them over 2 years ago...even at a profit of $250 ea I can't get myself to clean, inventory and sell...I keep telling myself once summer hits the hot sun will make the peroxide bath much more effective...that was two summers ago and going on my third...my laziness has no bounds1 point
