I built the primary build of 31109 3-in-1 Pirate Ship. What a fun build! It had me guessing the whole way through. The engineering of the set is top notch. I love the way it is constructed. It surprised me that the bags were numbered 1 through 9. I rather enjoyed the bagged piece approach for the primary build. I’m looking forward to building the other two builds. My eventual goal is to put this as the center piece of a MOC roller coaster, using two Pirate Coasters for the surrounding elements. I have the track laid out. Now I need to test place the ship and start plotting how it’s all going to work. Here are the pics!

Time lapse of my day today... The boy was building from the second we brought bin's in, the girl spent some time building minifigs, and the wife said "I'm gonna build that Bonsai tree tomorrow". I didn't know how much we missed it! Now all we need is: more parts, more drawers, more tables, and more time. MOARRRRR! Build table Build.mp4

you can ..you know...just push the pump manually 😁 I loved building this set w/ my son. Teaching him about pneumatic systems and him actually building and testing as we went. He used it on a show and tell in his class.

I bought a few older sets with my proceeds from the items I sold, and based upon the condition of some of the boxes I received, I'd say Stockx's focus is more on whether the set is genuine than the overall condition of the boxes. The boxes for the first few sets I bought didn't have any obvious flaws, but the last 3 or 4 had dents/creases that were significant enough that I would have mentioned them if I was listing the set on eBay. Stockx doesn't provide a return option, but for the sets I bought, it's not an issue because I will throw the boxes away after I build the set. My guess is that Stockx doesn't have much motivation to reject sets based on box condition because they miss out on a commission if they do.

This is so exciting! We even got our special legos out lol —this is a great fundraiser and what a great community! AJ is super excited!!!

I am pumped that I bought the dip, and now I get to buy ANOTHER DIP!!! (although I only had $100 left to buy with!) Still... Diamond Hands.
