  1. Not a set, per se, but all the rare or unique parts for the LEGO House exclusive Duck and Brick Moulding Machine sets arrived from Bricks and Pieces (also a couple rare ones for the LEGO House Dinosaurs and Tree of Creativity). Now to pull together the common pieces and build these exclusives!!!!

  5. According to my records, I bought two 10212 at TRU on 3/16/13 on a BOGO 50% deal. On 3/16/13, I paid 260+130+tax for two 10212. I repeated this transaction 9 additional times until the end of March 2013. I still have over 10 of these in storage.

  7. Courtesy of Promobricks - 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar 'Regardless of the leaked list of characters, we can confirm that they will be the following characters: Stormtrooper, Scout Trooper, Tusken Robber, IG-11, the Mandalorian and the Child. The latter two are supposed to be this year's Christmas figures. Both will get an exclusive Christmas torso print after our information. We've also learned some of the mini builds for you. So, of course, there will be the Razor Crest, but also Cobb Vanths Speeder, a TIE Fighter, an X-Wing, a blue Landspeeder, a Tusken Balliste, an E-Web Blaster, an Imperial Troop Transport, Moff Gideon's cruiser and some weapon stands. So you can see: for the first time, the 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar covers only one theme, in this case The Mandalorian'

  8. Sure. For the prints I bought extra; you can find the needed inventories on Brickset or Rebrickable. Only the prints and the lime green doors / frames are truly exclusive at this point. But the rest are relatively rare. 9. If you look at all the Disney SW movies, Rogue One is the only one that didn't break the SW universe or insult us like the other movies did. It did fan service but it was cleverly woven into the story line. The DV scene can be written off, but it shows us a glimpse of a younger DV who was truly scary. (Of course, we got the good side version in Mandalorian, Season 2 finale with Luke). In a New Hope all we see Vader do is pick a guy up by his neck and throw him against a wall, force choke a commanding officer to prove a point, and fly the meanest Tie fighter (although we only see it flying in a straight line) in the entire movie. Not much really. Rogue One showed us more of Vader's capabilities. Rogue One lines like K-2SO to Cassian, "Do you want to know the odds she'll use [her blaster] against you? It's high. It's very high," is very funny and is a reference to C-3PO and Han Solo in ESB. K-2SO "I've got a bad felling..." Jyn and Cassian, "Shhh" is also great. K-2SO truly makes the film fun and keeps it moving along. No K-2SO and this movie is very different. Back-pack guy and blind guy are great characters as well. While getting a bag put over blind guy's head, "Are you kidding, I am blind!" Rogue One provides plausible explanations for how the DS was so easily blown up in A New Hope and a plausible explanation for how they received the blue prints to begin with. Introductions of new ship designs (Tie Striker, Krennick's Shuttle, and U-Wing) that are very obviously part of the SW universe. And let's not forget Vader's Castle that fans knew about from concept art and Expanded Universe comics. So to see it in movie form was awesome! AND, let's all admit it - we all wanted to see the "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, [win] their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire" (A New Hope crawl). No victory comes without a cost. The cost is; everyone we came to know and care about in the movie dies. We knew it was coming because they had to have a plausible explanation why we never see any of these characters in any other SW movies. The Force Awakens, Solo, and the other movies did fan service that was so in our face, as if none of us fans would get the jokes, that it was insulting. Rogue One didn't insult us, didn't break the SW universe, and provided plausible explanations that fit A New Hope. To that end, it worked well as a prequel.

  17. Actually I own a type writer for birthday cards etc., it shows that you've put some effort into it. But the fan base of a type writer will be relativly small and compared to the piano audience with money this gonna be a huge turd.

  20. Maybe also appropriate for the Walmart Clearance thread, I've been tooling around to various local Walmart stores picking up clearance Hart tools. They are revamping the line for the year bringing in new twice-the-price brushless tools, so I'm finding a little here and a little there marked way down. Initially I just wanted a little inflator and a car washer. But I just kept finding good deals. Even the steel shelving unit was just $21. Now if only I could afford to buy any lumber right now.

  23. Let's not pretend they did it for the community or the fans. Releasing the coin after the May 4th promo guarantees them that each coin code is used on another order and not combined with the May 4th promo. It also generates extra hype at a different time.

  27. Got my 2nd dose of pfizer this morning...have a headache which started pretty shortly after getting it. Hard to focus on work...Will just have to rely on BPer to get me through the day 🥴 The lady doing the observation period was super chatty (she typically forgot to tell people when their time was up); I guess she was talking to all of us (captive audience anyone)...shared a story that she had known an Indian couple who recently moved back to India (after immigrating to US many years ago) to get away from all the US issues...she heard they both died of Covid 2 weeks in.
