I must have ordered right as they went OoS on the GWPs as my order shows only the Discovery. Called CS to cancel but of course the order went into Warehouse status while I was waiting in the queue. Rep told me she couldn't cancel anymore and checked the system and said the promos were all gone (actually, she said she didn't think they had any promos and it must have been an issue with the website, but that just shows how much conjecture there is in CS's answers, given that several of you have warehouse confirmations of 10283+2 GWPs). Offered a return label or she could look for some other promos, then proceeded to offer MBoM and Amelia. I did a quick calculation and said thank you I'll take that. Crisis averted, happy customer.9 points

So I'm totally late to the party on Wanda…just finished binging it last night. The whole story can be summed up with the beautiful line, "What is grief, if not love persevering?" Vision, a non-human, providing Wanda a way forward with her life is just about the most human thing ever. Very well done, MCU.6 points

This morning I built the Rogue Shadow and it was not like most of the other Star Wars builds I have done. The ship is asymmetrical, has a fair amount of internal Technic pieces and took me over three hours to complete, partially because of my curious need to have the Lego logo facing in the same direction as I build (the set has under 500 pieces). I really bought set for the excellent minifigure selection because it includes the exclusive Darth Vader Battle Damaged and Darth Vader's Apprentice, and ended up liking it because it is a unique ship. The set was supposed to be complete per the Craigslist seller: 10-15 pieces missing, about 30 pieces included which did not go with the set (the 6 x 16 light bluish gray plate being the most dumbfounding) and 5 Mega Bloks, definitely the more typical used find for most of us.6 points

I've gotten the first three coins and the holder. So, damn - I gotta have them all right? I'm not a sellout with the coins like some of you - I'm just a really big nerd who loves coins like I love LEGO!3 points

That coin was up around 10pm last night. First one I have gotten. I scoffed at the coins in the beginning but had to jump on the bandwagon. I suspect there are many more like me thus the insta sellout.3 points

Stupid LEGO. I let my guard down because the shuttle didn't have the exclusive tied to it, went to sleep and wake up to the stupid space coin sold out!!!! What happened to the good old days when everyone said the coins looked dumb or were low quality or they would be 20$ max. 100$ on Ebay already is stupid. I currently hate LEGO and people who spamming at midnight.3 points

Target GWP that was included with a Lego pick-up order: Dots pack and Dots bracelet sealed in a bag with a coupon/promo book. The CS worker had no idea what the promo was about, so YMMV. My daughter was whining about not having any money to buy Lego as we were walking into Target, then 60 seconds later, free Lego!3 points

I recently picked up a bulk bin of lego: mostly castle and pirates and was worried I was overpaying, but I wanted the pirate sets. It was missing a bunch of stuff, but fortunately a second bin was located and I bought that too. This was a great find. They all ended up 98-100% complete and near mint (horse bardings have all clips, no scratches, minifigures in great shape, most flags don't have broken clips, the worst set was missing 10 parts at one part each). Mountain baseplates have no marks, except for the pirate one, and that's on the underside of the "cave" indentation. There's not really any dust anywhere so these have been packed up for a couple of decades. Sets: Pirates 6246 Crocodile Cage 6261 Raft Raiders 6262 King Kahuka's Throne 6266 Cannon Cove 6270 Forbidden Island 6274 Caribbean Clipper 6276 Eldorado's Fortress Castle 1463 Treasure Cart 1491 Dual Defender 6034 Black Monarch's Ghost 6038 Wolfpack Renegades 6042 Dungeon Hunters 6048 Majistos Magical Workshop 6056 Dragon Wagon 6057 Sea Serpent 6075 Wolfpack Tower 6078 Royal Drawbridge 6081 King's Mountain Fortress 6086 Black Knight's Castle... Except it's missing the white feathers :-( Aquanauts 1822 Sea Claw 7 6104 Aquacessories 6115 Shark Scout x2 6155 Deep Sea Predator 6175 Crystal Explorer Sub 6190 Sharks Crystal Cave 6195 Neptune Discovery Lab Random Few small blacktron/mtron sets 6975 UFO Alien avenger 6755 Sheriff's Lock Up Few random creator, technic, sport, and city sets like coastal cutter. All have instructions, a few have boxes in good condition, a few have destroyed boxes. Some polybags are still here too. Overall, lots of fun ahead to finish building. I can probably sell the aqua sets and random stuff to get close to break even after buying parts on order. I get to keep the pirate and castle sets 98%+ complete for free and slowly order parts in the US once the pandemic slows down and the border opens.3 points

I believe this is called hyperbole. But when you're a reseller as most of us are, you don't necessarily see it as a free item but as a discount on the thing you're paying full price for, it's like ordering a thing with a coupon that shows as applied in the cart and on the order, but then getting charged as if the coupon didn't exist - you'd be right to complain and hope the retailer makes it right. Crisis? No, but it's a reasonable thing to have resolved.2 points

I was quoting Phil B who got the MBoM and Amelia, but yeah, exciter got MBoM and Chariot which definitely is a bit better although I think the chariot set looks like Pooh. See what I did there?2 points

Comes with a single holder. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-VIP-Classic-Space-Collectible-Coin-2021-Sold-Out-Last-In-A-Series-Of-4/303942589895?hash=item46c463ddc7:g:YnAAAOSwph1gZcSt https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-VIP-Classic-Space-Collectible-Coin-2021-Free-Shipping/265107972768?hash=item3db9aaa2a0:g:wN4AAOSwuwFgZSY5 https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-VIP-Classic-Space-Collectible-Coin-2021-Free-Shipping/265107972768?hash=item3db9aaa2a0:g:wN4AAOSwuwFgZSY5 https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-VIP-COIN-Space-Coin-4th-Coin-Released/174713851400?hash=item28adc1ce08:g:oEAAAOSwcJxgZQ2u That last ad is just ridiculous.2 points

It comes sealed in a very nice holder (kind of makes the large one pointless, imo).2 points

I flinched on the coin holder assuming that it would be available longer. Big mistake. But at least I got the 4 individual coins.2 points

I am thinking those that would normally order the limit of 2 went with 1 incase the Ulysses GWP shows up? That is what I did.2 points

Another set launch, another terrible website experience. I was hoping as an April Fools day joke that it would work perfectly.2 points

Likely will sell out fairly quickly, probably by tomorrow. Anyone who isn't aware of it now will probably be looking for it at midnight. Price wise my opinion is that it's value will be slightly more than the Pirate coin, but less than the Castle coin. Anyone who has the other 3 but misses out on the Space coin will look for it on the secondary market and drive up the price.2 points

I guess I need to continue to monitor my order then, until it ships.1 point

Personally, the pirate coin looks the coolest with the Skull and cross bones. Im not sure I will be getting the space coin because of the cost to do so. Shame to, because it was the one I was most looking forward to having in my collection. If the price stays this high, I may sell off my other coins. Would ease the pain more not having any than missing one Great point.1 point

Got my Shuttle order in as well along with the same GWPs including the Octan coin. I forgot to add a small in-stock item just in case the Shuttle goes backorder before mine ships. Crossing my fingers.1 point
-
I've got 1900 VIP points. I can get the coin now, redeem it with the shuttle. The shuttle should provide enough points to bump me back up to space probe value, but not until they ship the shuttle. Are we sure the probe isn't coming out tonight?1 point
-
The seals (stickers) are fine. There isn’t anything of great individual value worth opening and stealing from the set. Perhaps if it came with the power functions someone could have done that. You can always weigh it and compare to the standard.1 point
-
So as long as I redeemed the points for the code then I am guaranteed a coin even if they sell out, correct? yes I'm just thinking if I should redeem the code now on an order or wait until May the 4th. And no I am not buying the shuttle. I mostly want the 5/4 promo (Tatooine homestead right? Not if LEGO changes the game and requires 5/4 promo to be redeemed as code instead of gwp. It didn't happen before, but since LEGO is getting the hang of VIP pts, you don't know for sure it won't happen1 point

I do not pack my items in shipping boxes before sending to Amazon. My returns are almost exclusively due to bubble mailer nonsense and the overall rate is something like 5%, but that's year-round and is for all of my sales, not just LEGO. But the same thing happens with dolls, action figures, and other toys. I don't think I've ever separated it out by quarter (although, it makes sense). However, I consider that a cost of doing business and overall would be more expensive for me to buy boxes and packing material for each item. That's not even factoring in the amount of time that I would spend. I'm not interested in packing up every set individually and then sending them in. If I were to do that, I'd rather just FBM.1 point

It's always nice when you can get the wife involved. My wife stole my Bonsai and built it when it first came out. Then I came home from work a few days ago and she was working on it again. I asked her "You taking it apart to put in storage?", she replied "Nope, it's spring... time to swap out the green leaves for the pink cherry blossoms".1 point
