I know absolutely nothing specific about what you're talking about, but that has never stopped me from offering an opinion before so... If LEGO is going after these people/entities to protect its intellectual property, there are reasons for doing that that have nothing to do with market share. Certain types of IP rights are essentially "defend it or lose it," so if they didn't take action against potential infringers, the very fact of their inaction could be used later to challenge the protectability of the IP. This is one reason that you see huge corporations going after infringers that couldn't possibly be harming their business in any material way. When I was in school, there was a bar in town that decided to name itself after a Star Wars character...that lasted about a week before Lucasarts swooped in to force a nothing-sized bar that no one had ever heard of in a podunk college town to change its name.
Is there a way to take legal action against someone in a likeable fashion?
