Got a rare one, new & sealed 4478 in the blue box, none listed anywhere, just one sold through BrickLink in October for ~550€/~$660. Black box is quite common, this one isn't apparently. Literally no sealed blue boxes.

First off, happy new year everyone. Secondly, I wake up to over a 100 emails of lego bashing, I don't recall this thread focusing on that and thought it was an actual deals thread... so maybe one new year resolution folks here can consider is to post things in the appropriate thread. Lastly, after wasting my freshly minted 2021 mins reading through all those entries, I'm still not sure what all the idiocy was about. All I got out of it was a bunch of whiny babies whining about how their new orders aren't going through. SO... can someone please explain to me why these posts belong here AND what exactly I missed out on? Was there a particular deal in place OR were people drooling all over themselves to get the new GWP stuff? And yes, this probably doesn't belong here either but at this point this thread seems like a free for all

Well, in and of itself - It would be (and is) a nice looking set. But in the reality of reasonable expectations - it sucks.

I watched a bunch of WW84 reviews on Youtube without actually watching the movie. It was much more fun to see people' reaction to how bad the movie was

Agreed it was overlong and plays too much with stereotypes. The message was interesting about the dangers of wish fulfillment in the vehicle of fantasy franchises and it was somewhat refreshing to not see people being killed left and right. Still a poor outing though.

Typical LEGO site not handling the load. Even worse, the only HP sets I remember available were Astronomy Tower and Moments. Not worth missing family memories, and today there's a lot more desirable sets available (even if Backorder).

My advice, turn to the Magic Eight Ball.

I found myself enjoying the movie. My daughter quickly reminded me that I only feel that way because I haven't seen a good movie in a while.

Hold for me. The buy in is low, and the market is flooded with MBMs. The car is one of the best GWPs with purchase in years I've seen. The design of the set makes up for the low piece count. I can see it going up in value like the Gingerbread House from a few years ago.

I grabbed one for my collection , figured today as as good as it gets for now .
