  1. Shipping is top notch, they are definitely a collectible company. I've been ordering from them 15 years or so.

  6. Please fix those quarter tiles, you're killing me.
  7. I know a lot of people rag on these, but I love them. Can't wait to get mine in the mail today. One nitpick, I'm thinking I prefer red with its discs to teal's dots on top.
  8. December calendar up now. https://www.lego.com//cdn/cs/stores/assets/blt20220779c0563044/12_December_Calendar_US.pdf?format=pjpg Ice Skating Rink GWP at $150 12/1 to 12/24 VIP Holiday Gift Set GWP at $40 12/1 to 12/15 In-store train polybag GWP at $40 12/14 to 12/24
  9. Hmm, did this affect the ability to buy? I have not had any new orders in the past 5 hours or so
  10. Use code BUNNY for an additional 10% off ($18).
  11. The Brothel is still in play until we have proof otherwise
  12. Man, a police station would be colossally bad timing. Stonewars has a pretty good track record, recent mistakes notwithstanding.
  13. No one told me I would need deeper boxes to handle the girth of the Dickens...

  15. Better than expected. And cute.
  16. You guys can laugh at me for asking this, but are those minifigure parts in that deal just Legoland BAM leftovers that have been touched and messed with by multiple snot-nosed kids, or are they factory fresh/untouched parts? Did they arrive in sealed bags?
  17. IT still may be retiring....... although I still cant figure out where the 1k sets amazon had available last week went to
  18. You are correct, my calendar item was wrong.
  19. Thought it was the 27th?
  20. Now I’m getting alerts for sales, but nothing showing up in pending orders.
  21. Thank you for that information. Very helpful in making my decision in gifting this or not.
  22. I think so because I am not seeing any new orders as well since 3:00 am US ET and by now I should have more than just one.
  23. In store i was told once I would have to pay the list price on a GWP if i did the return. They said I could keep it if i did an exchange for another item. This was my plan anyways so i just made an exchange and kept the GWP
  24. AWS outage being reported...
  25. same! must be a glitch
  26. I tried to list a few things. Some are showing Incomplete, some aren't there at all.
  27. Here is the thread for the 2021 Modular
  28. Many people haven't seen the interesting things MOC'd in this botanical category like we have thanks to theorcking. When those folks do see this (and the bonsai), will be amazed at what LEGO is up to. I cant wait to see what the future holds for this theme. I'd like to think some upcoming sets will be prime for getting a bunch of foliage at once for city/country landscapes.
  29. I don’t find them ugly per say. The appeal here is the shear commitment to produce something that mimics nature—to recreate not just flowers, but an arrangement complete with the nuance and thoughtful design. It’s a departure for LEGO. Some will find it jarring and be put off by it while I think others will be fascinated by it.

If its okay to violate limits lightly, set the limit to what the actual limit is and enforce it. Its that easy. Image you have a kid and you let them run around the house with an ice cream cone 95 out of 100 times. But 5 in 100 times you ground them for doing it. Not a very effective policy.
  31. I may be more forgiving than most, but if he refunded you without any pushback, then I wouldn't leave a negative. Depending on his attitude I may leave a positive since everything worked out.

@Achilles I understand your sentiment, however what i don't agree with is places like Target and Walmarts "reseller policies". If Target and Walmart didn't want resellers they would put in actual stock/order limitations over night. This is a very easy programmatic check. Amazon has enforced this for years. Walmart even tried it, then backed it out. Target only wants resellers when it best fits them, unfortunately the way they handle that policy is terrible and ham-fisted. They have this nebulous fraud detection/cancellation policy. The fact you don't know if you are going to get banned or if your orders are going to go through, is A BAD POLICY and a BAD website/user experience. They need to establish a policy and enforce it through the website. They want their resellers, just not certain ones and only at certain times with some quantities but not too many quantities. This screams to me that they have terrible technology and sales leaders making poor decisions.

If only Target didn't do that special release with Lilly Pulitzer in 2015....

  35. ...and then refunded the Skylander, and the free LEGO showed up
  36. Like, if they WERE stolen, would somebody admit to it? And if you were dealing with someone who stole goods, would you feel comfortable asking them straight up about it? Lord.
  37. bespin was limit 1 per order at target and many resellers were banned at target which is why it lasted so long bespin would have poofed quickly if target had made it limit 3 or higher. nebulon was available initially in a stealthy yellow lego box as the set photo first night of amazon prime day with some nonsense set name and description to the average consumer in limitless order. i placed and received my first 3 digit order of a single set with the neb b . i think they will both do very well. the selling price cap on neb b on amazon is a wrinkle to contend with . target's insistence on shipping bespin 1x at a time resulted in varying degrees of damage to majority of my bespin boxes so i think minty bespins may be very rare. i could see both sets $160-200 in a year. bespins already selling for $119.99 for me on amazon fbm so $160 is not that big a stretch. nebulon b is capped at $104.
  38. Glad to see Jamie is designing in the series again. It always seemed as though he had a vision for the line. The last three have been nice additions, but they dont really go as well with the prior buildings. More so the Dinner & Garage.
  39. I bet some hearts dropped when they saw TH ...lol
  40. Just sold a Lord of the Rings set to a buyer named Rohan. You can’t make this stuff up.
  41. It has been taken down as the Macks are updating/fixing it. At this time we do not have a eta and the thread about it has also been taken down. Fingers crossed it pops back up sooner than later. I am lost without it
  42. The first time this set will ever get likes
  43. Last night I built LEGO 30628 Monster book of Monsters. Really fun built with a large variety of pieces and building techniques considering the piece count. It has wheels and when you push it the mouth opens and the tongue can wiggle. Well worth the $20 and a great display piece. I posted a speed build on TikTok (same name) if that interests anyone.
  44. Well, I did re-introduce myself prior to making that post so it feels like I covered my bases....haha But, in all seriousness, great to "see you" again!
