This is something I have wanted to try for a while to help. You should now start seeing a new feature in the sidebar called "Set Trend Tracker" (Work in Progress title, will come up with something more catchy later, maybe like "Brick Tracker???"). What I want to accomplish here is a way for you the member to suggest sets to target for monitoring as far as stock and pricing. There will be another add-on widget to this that will then take the top voted sets and show current tracking information for you to come in and target. Here are a few features You can suggest a set, just click the button, add the set number and name. Admins/Moderators will approve Right now I have it set that each member can vote for 5 sets Every 24 hours, each member can move two of their votes, so if you have filled up your limit of Downtown Diners, then you can move your vote to something else you want to target If sets starts to die off and no one cares to follow some sets, I will disable them to remove them from the list You need to be a good member with some approved posts in order to be able to benefit from it. Over the next few days, another widget will appear to start displaying the tracking information so you can see whats going on with sets you care about the most. As always, I am open to feedback to help make it work more for you.9 points

This is my one respite from politics. Even my podcasts (none of which are political in nature) have seen it seep in. Today I’m cleaning up this thread. And I’ll be zero tolerance on it. This is a joyful place. Not a place to talk politics or poke jabs.3 points

Thanks for the tip, I got an order in and they ship direct to Europe. Shipping wasn't cheap but cheaper than going through a forwarder. Its going to cost me almost 60 a box with taxes added by my estimates.2 points

it was locked by Jeff Mack so i'll let someone else make that call. 77904 went on sale the first night of amazon prime day under some random yellow box and number, not showing the actual set. you could put as many as you wanted in your cart and checkout and roll the dice. the next day the order shows the correct box and name under the order but now the actual amazon page with the set is unsearchable. supposed to ship on Nov 15.1 point

This would have been perfect to post for Halloween but I only now came across it. Anyway, here is an animation inspired by the recently popular Among Us in a very John Carpenter's "The Thing" tone. Well more than what the game is anyway. A bit gruesome if you're squeamish.1 point

It sucks, buy at your own risk. They do have pretty good customer service though from my experience. Usually refunds. No SDCC badge on the ones from Amazon (sad)...1 point

I was talking about both. Historically, Amazon has been VERY loose with reimbursement for inventory issues, but it was costing them a lot of money so they tightened things up and I'm sure their reimbursement costs fell dramatically. Right now is as bad as I've ever experienced it. At times, I expect them to ask me for my birth certificate to prove that I am actual human being capable of receiving reimbursement. The last time I had a lot of inventory go missing, I had to provide both receipts that I purchased the inventory, receipts that I delivered the packages to UPS, AND receipts that they were delivered to Amazon. However, because Amazon had waited like 2 months to get to the case, the UPS information was no longer available online. I went back and forth at least 8 times before they gave in and reimbursed me. I have never had a problem using online or retail receipts as proof of purchase. However, don't expect them to do a lick of work reading the receipts so it pays to invest in an app that will let you edit PDFs so you can highlight the specific item.1 point

I can translate for you. BS is short for bricks e ek. He hates going to bs to see all the sets that are on clearance at his local Walmart. Since 2020 is corona time, he can't go, unlike 2019 when he was free to go whenever he wanted.1 point

Sold 30x 77905 Taskmasters Ambush for $2550 cash ($85 per) to a picker who messaged me after seeing my post in the 77905 thread. These may go higher, they may stagnate, but I'll never turn down double my investment the same day...in cash.1 point

Just a reminder to everyone - and this isn’t directed at any one in particular as we’ve all been guilty lately - this thread is for posting of deals. We’ve been lax with the cross talk lately, but as the holidays approach, and potential deals come around, let’s keep it to a minimum. Instead, I encourage you to check out all the other forums we have. There’s a topic for just about every set out there. And if there’s not, create one! We have topics on speculating what’s going to retire, investment strategies, clearance at individual stores. Please go check them out. Thank you!1 point
