I just picked up the Han Solo key chain. It's way heavier than I thought. Looks great, box is great, but its a legit chunk of metal and i'd never use it as a key chain. Receipt says value is $12.99. It isn't in a sealed package just a box that opens so i'm concerned with resale and may just keep it. Free promos received: 40413 Lego Mindstorm $19.99, 30464 El Fuego's Cannon $4.99, Han Solo Keychain $12.99, and they threw in 30549 (59 piece build your own construction thing)

Hi all, used to be a relatively active member of the forums back on its early years, but at this point it seems like it's been over 3 years since I actually posted anything - how time flies... Anyway, it's great to see how much the site has grown and changed over the years and although I never completely stopped checking it out, I am really looking forward to getting back into spending some more time in here going through all the great new content! To all of the familiar faces, it's great to see you and can't wait to interact with you again. And to all of the new faces, it's nice to meet you!

That's what they told me as well, but they did it anyway. Im not sure why. I didn't push the issue and wasn't rude about it. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe it was my good looks and charming personality? I was certainly happy with the original sale price, which is why I bought them to begin with. I don't think I've ever bought Lego from Bestbuy before, so I wasn't sure what their price matching policy was. Again, big YMMV.

hehe If I didn't already buy a Razor Crest as a preorder (yes, I'm a sucker), I would be buying it now. Burn a few points off to get cost down, and enjoy that sweet keychain.

I was fortunate to be able to order twenty 21140 Minecraft Chicken Coops from BestBuy when it was posted in the DD a few days ago. They were $12.49 each when I ordered for store pick up. I went to pick them up today and asked if they would price match their new online price of $9.99, which they did. They said they don’t normally do that though so it’s a big YMMV if you decide to try it when you pick up your orders.

Local LEGO store had Slave 1 at 20% off. First time i've seen it on sale and hadn't bought it yet. I usually only purchase in store what is on sale and in an amount to get the promo.

Was more of a shadow ban, in my experience. You and others could place orders to your address, but they would all be cancelled.

1. Just visited my local Lego store in Schaumburg Illinois. Plan was to check out sales and clearance. To my surprise they had LEGO Star Wars Slave 1 (75243) at $95 (-20% msrp). 2. They also said the Han Solo key chain starts tomorrow the 30th to coincide with season 2 of The Mandalorian. I'll go back tomorrow for the Slave 1, add Kylo Ren's Microfighter (75264) that retires soon to get over $100, get the key chain promo and another El Fuego cannon.

Pre-orders are open for two more days roughly (at time of posting) so same as the first one's limited run, get it while you can.

I've had terrible luck with box condition on these so I have to pass. They made these boxes too flimsy.
