I feel like Pavlov's dog. I was working on my laptop with this page in the background. I heard the ding, went straight to Amazon and ordered more tree houses. OOS now. Lasted 8 minutes.

I just got a email response. Emailed moments after realizing that I had ordered two Diagon's before midnight, and not gotten the GWP. They said sorry but it was sold out, and is typically "one per household" (I also ordered a Burrow set and got one) and gave me around 300 VIP points.

LEGO Email response time has been 10 days since the start of COVID. Phone line wait times have been 45-60 minutes. All pretty consistent during the few times I had to use it. I would definitely not use email to contact them about something time-sensitive such as a limited GWP.

Well, that makes me feel a bit better... felt pretty stupid with 2 Diagon Alleys, and 0 GWP when it became clear that they made PLENTY of Diagon Alley.

And to think years back when all this started (even still when the project started gaining proper momentum), LEGO had barely approved any of the submissions. Now here we stand with a list of "to-do's" growing. For the moment a backlog is a good thing. People will have a preview as to what will be released in due time and should there ever be a returning lull in lack of approvals whatever the case may be, there is a stream of already approved ideas to fall back on for as long as that lasts anyway. Chances are LEGO will not always have this full of an inbox for green-lit submissions. Then again, creativity on the Ideas site has climbed nicely over time.
