I ordered 1 11717 and someone in the Walmart warehouse got lazy and just sent me the sealed LEGO shipper it comes in, which holds 2 sets. I wondered why the package was so heavy.

Sold 10182 and 10185 for $1200 cash. Decided to keep 10190 to complete the collection, even though I don't actually consider it a modular. Now I've managed to snag every modular for under RRP over the past 3 years when I started collecting them.

All my Target order shipped and LEGO order shipped... Also... ***POOF*** ... from Target... (temporarily?!)

target likes to give a false sense of availability on a lot of sets that have the red buy button. buggy website. now that its oos we can have fun picking them off F5 style when the inevitable handful are found.

Meant to quote the advent calendar posting for Walmart a few posts back... Confirmed at my closet WM. Actually works out to 25% off for Star Wars and HP (RRP $40). Also picked up a City for $20 or 33% off (RRP $30). Pricing error? Seems odd to have such heavy discounts on initial release, but I’ll take it!

YMVV but I saw some Advent Calendars out at Wal-Mart today. No Mario yet though which is strange, though the TV wall in electronics has a big advertisement for all the Mario sets.

A friend of mine has been fighting it for about 2 years (she’s currently in hospice) it’s been awful to watch her and her family go through. She’s never been clear of it since the original diagnosis, but has had many instances where the hope of beating it were there only to take several steps back...Our kids go to school together, something as simple as picking the kids up becomes an event to be celebrated. Yeah...**** cancer.

I keep 26 x 20 x 6, 26 x 20 x 4 and also a small stock of bigger 24 x 24 x 8. Those seem to work for 99% of the big sets. And recently I've picked up some 20 x 15 x 6 good for the big porsche, bugatti and slave 1.

I have a friend who is going through cancer treatments. She’s made it about 4 years, and she’s in her early 40s and it started with colon cancer. Unfortunately she’s on hospice now. As rare as it is for someone at this age (late 30s/early 40s) to get colon cancer, it’s still deadly.
