Unbelievable. I am not sure what is more shocking. That I won(sorry Ed, I'm one of the Califorian's) OR that this is my 1st ever post. I have been a member and a follower of countless threads on this site for over 6 years now. It is built into my day to pull the site up 5, 10, 25 times a day. Everyday. I read practically every post in damn near every thread. I just don't ever post, it's just not my thing. But I am very much appreciative of Ed and Jeff Mack and everybody that makes the site the way it is(regardless if you post regularly or never at all). I don't buy tickets every year thinking I will win, I do it to help you help a good cause, I do it as my "payment or thank you" for the enjoyment and knowledge of brickpicker. So in case I never post again thank you for all that you guys do and thank you for pulling one of my numbers6 points

I finally decided to build my May the 4th GWP. It is definitely lacking. So I tried to improve it. It would honestly be better with a X-Wing in the lead followed by the A-Wing, but I'm lacking parts to make a white X-Wing in micro scale. I also shortened the tail fins on the A-Wing. I added a second gun tower. In RoTJ, the entrance was surrounded by turrets.3 points

Thanks. We really need the schools to open soon. The Mack Academy is underperforming. LOL.3 points

Let me help with that... I went ahead and created some posts in the thread just to get things rolling:3 points

I would talk with you homeowners insurance company - Your numbers don't seem that high that you would have too many issues.2 points

That's pretty brazen on their part...don't people realize that security cameras are just about everywhere? Glad you're ok and that your collection is intact.2 points

Question for mods, would it be possible to start a thread and call it "Retiring Soon - open speculation", or something like that? We could post things in there, instead of in the Daily Deals thread.2 points

I’ve seen that a couple of times. Maybe it’s from the same seller? Either way, that really is a packing excellence (unlike most other examples in this thread). I appreciate it also and think it’s pretty cool.1 point

Things took off a month before anyone got a check (even before word spread that stimulus checks were coming) - There is simply a lot of money out there.1 point

This makes sense though, when you have billions being provided to people, they are going to spend it. When the billions are used up, so goes extra sales. The big question will be, how much spendable income will be available from now until xmas and further.1 point

Congrats to everyone, maybe next year I will win. Only one bonus ticket won, and that was to the raffle I bought tickets for. Looking at the numbers we have quite a few that one with low numbers like 776, 471, 981, 541, 431 and of course W1! Is W1 actually the FIRST ticket sold for that one? Enjoy it! oh and PS build the train station FIRST, if you build the castle first you get let down by the simplicity of the train station.1 point

So 2 full months into this sales boost (3/17 is when I saw the huge uptick start) - How long can it go? Does it need to stop? Can we be entering a new golden age for lego reselling?1 point

You running bricksync? If you forget to do a blmaster this will happen.1 point

So the Monkie Kid Sets are available now, no incentives... but anyone think with the quarantine buying frenzy that they will quickly go TOOS?1 point

You need to just click on marketplace then selling if it's an item that was up before it started. Click edit listing and if you are eligible it will allow you to change it to local pickup and shipping then choose the free label option. The whole lisitng layout changed when it rolled out.1 point

Thanks! Me too. I don't think they're worth much State side, but moved to Australia recently and they sell for a fortune here. Picked them up in my teens for under ten bucks apiece. I have lugged them around the world twice though with job moves. Have stacks of carded orange and green carded figures still to see if I can sell or trade.1 point

Thanks for the nice responses everybody! A couple of days later now, it already starts to feel better. Will look at the new place this afternoon, to get things in motion.1 point

Well, the funny thing is that Brickpicker members always get a bad rap. We are low life resellers and steal sets from Little Timmy, yet for the past five years the community has come together to help some kids and teachers that they don't even know. It always gives me hope for humanity and very proud to be associated with all of you. This year is especially tough for the school (all schools really) because we cannot do our typical "social" fundraisers like Blingo, Mother's Day Tea, Car Shows and other things that require close contact.1 point

It's good to know that you are safe and your legos are also safe. I had this type of concern before when I also rent storage to keep my collection. Luckily, nothing bad happened.1 point

Maybe we should just start posting Daily deals in that thread .... How about we start a thread called "Daily Retirement"?1 point

Totally forgot about this! I bought in early. I always lose in life, but for some reason I am God's gift to raffles. I will post my win soon, no joke.1 point

Just made another donation to this great cause and I cannot stop buying raffle tickets. Help!1 point

Let's move these posts over to the "new thread" ☺️ Sorry for the derailment... I only started the tangent here since the deal came up, I should've posted my question in the correct thread. 😴1 point

By the way: Creator Expert as a theme is discontinued. Future sets will have a "classic" black 18+ box design like 10273 in order to specifically target adults & get rid of "childish" box art. This will affect all future models that would fall into the Creator Expert line. (Source: StoneWarsDE) Bummer, I enjoyed the old box art, don't really feel the new one. Modulars with a black box... 🤒1 point

Oos everywhere, hopefully we'll see it return a couple of times before it's gone for good... it's already 20% over retail price on the bay1 point

LEGO should be promoting this on their social media account... you are doing a much better job than they are1 point

DOM'S CHARGER. I am not nearly as critical of this set as Hwu. Yes, its a technic set that doesn't have traditional Rack & Pinion steering, but does have the neat Wheelie display feature. It's boxy, large, heavy, bouncy springs that bottom out, questionable steering mechanism. Its a m-f-ing DODGE CHARGER! If you want a good frame, just don't complete bags 3 and 4 and then you have a really nice underbody that you could use as a template for other models. It's a technic set made more zoomable and easier to control with the rear steering mechanism. This is a fun set.1 point

Also, CASH. That one always cracks me up. How else would you pay? Goats or sheep?1 point

The game is basically the digital version of LEGO. Try playing in Survival mode yourself for an hour and I'm pretty sure you'll be hooked. Yes there are MC sets that did not make it to x2 (I assume you mean RRP). Most infamous example is 21122 Minecraft The Nether Fortress. Only recently made it past RRP, now going for $100 on AMZ (RRP was $80). Set retired 3 years ago.1 point

My 30-day sales are ahead of my December total. I'm selling stuff that I didn't think would ever sell. Benny's Spaceships for $200 T1's for $225 I even sold my Sopwith Camel, which I think is the longest hold in my inventory at close to 10 years - for $270.1 point

same here. but I told my wife that my Lego selling days are numbered, and blowing out this much inventory this quickly is super sexy to her1 point
