  1. my humble advice - don't think of it as investing where you can click a button to buy and click a button to sell. Think of it as a second job in which you will investing your free time for an undetermined wage.
  2. This may have been mentioned, but there's a chance for triple promo on Feb 7th when buying the new ISS: patch GWP, hidden sides GWP, friends flower GWP. That is, if the patch is still available. I'm buying one ISS on Feb 1 and another on Feb 7 if stock holds out.
  3. From a former Lego employee 700 for both ..
  4. All you can list with all the fees they can attach. Isn’t that just everyday?
  5. I think the freebie flower and the polybag are one and the same...
  6. An adults only build a Bear event for valentines ... that’s not going to social experiment in collective loneliness. Happy to see the further overlap of the hidden side and chocolate box promos.
  7. There should be a thread dedicated to Gumtree dreamers trying to sell LEGO. Some of them are hilarious.
  8. Offer valid through 2/15/2020 and applies to products sold by Amazon.com Enter code STOCKUPB2B at checkout.
  9. I found a decent '80s lot on Facebook yesterday. The seller only had the 6542 Seaport, 6395 Raceway, & 6394 Metro Park listed for $290. I talked her down to $225. Then she mentions that she has more not listed. She sends me some pictures and says $350 for everything. I counter with $300 and she accepted. The Slave 1 pictured wasn't included. I just didn't feel like moving it before taking pictures. Other than some dust, everything is in excellent condition and appears to be mostly complete. The sets with boxes are all still assembled inside their box. Inside the two storage containers are parts for what appears to be some classic space and town buildings. This should keep me busy for the rest of the winter.
  10. I've used one for years without any problems. Unlike other stores, Amazon let's you pick and choose which items to apply the exemption to
  11. Like the Pyhons wrote on their Facebook page: two down, four to go.
  12. Yay got my money back. "We are writing to follow up with you regarding the reimbursement request submitted for your FBA inventory. We have submitted a credit to your account in the amount of 100.22 USD. This credit will be posted, and will appear as "Other" in your Payments Account in 2 to 3 days. You can see this by clicking the "Transactions" link on the Payments page."
  13. Not a set, but there's something special about going to the Lego store and finding multiple small parts I currently use for MOCs that I sell. $200 in BrickLink parts for $15.99.
  14. Right there with you. I understand the joy of opening a pack and getting special cards, I grew up when baseball cards were booming, but I don’t understand these cards at all. The cartoons are so annoying, but so is all anime
