Glad I stopped at the Costco while out of town at my in-laws! Couldn't believe they were still there.

Just finished re-watching ep 7 and then the finale with my daughters. Wow. Best live action SW since the OT as far as I'm concerned. The first 10 min or so with the scout troopers was comedy gold, and not in a painful Jar Jar or Finn sort of way. More like the "Troops" skit from years ago. Every scene was a payoff from earlier in the season, whether it was the Mudhorn signit, the jetpack, a flamethrower in use (but not by Mando for once), or to something from the OT (Stormtroopers with lousy aim, washing away "the scum and villainy", Alderaan) or the CW/Rebels (Darksaber! Jedi war with Mandalore, Deathwatch? vs Droid Army). So many potential sets could come out of this season alone: RazorCrest with Mando, Baby Yoda, Kuill and IG-11 Navarro with Greef, Warner Herzog and stormtroopers (Cantina remake?) Folding Tie with Moff Gideon (with Darksaber), Mando with Jetpack and Death Troopers (with yet another e-web gun lol) (Pre-Viz ship remake?) Next up is Clone Wars Season 7 in Feb. I said it before and I meant it, the best SW content is on the small screen at this point.

I think I would take it better if he was replacing this hobby with something better than Pokemon. All he does is sit there and stare at those stupid cards all day.

We have signage here that it's having another run in stores - our major stores are all getting another batch in for January and have been taking preorders. I'd say it'll retire July or Dec 2020 (the latter being more likely).

Considering that Season 7 of Clone Wars is focused on the Seige of Mandalore and that Filoni is heavily involved in both shows, I'm hoping for some easter eggs that tie into Mandalorian to show up.

I wouldn't be surprise if they did the same as the Mini Cooper. They just let stock run down at full retail price until it was gone. No 20-30% off last kick. Just faded away. Right now it's the only Modular Building I'm missing; I just want it for a decent discount.

Loved loved loved it. I chose today to upgrade our main TV to a 4k one finally. I have spoken. Incredible episode, and I think a complete season that will age very well. IG-11 was a boss.

as a buyer , i am always put off my folks stating how much an item cost on other sites especially when the prices are almost the same. My expectation is that the local marketplaces should be cheaper by default. Saving on taxes, and shipping was never an incentive for me to buy from FB/CL. Having said that there is no right answer to your question. So you really want to sell ? do you have to sell? Is that extra $10 worth it to you ? what will you do with the extra $10 ? only you can answer these questions .. I personally wait for the market to catch up with my price , but don't take my advice , I am still sitting on 4 digit sets ( smh ) .

I've seen it twice now. My take? Thank goodness we salvaged a great ending to a very inconsistent and frustrating trilogy. I hated episode 8 and I view 9 as a retcon and remake of 8. The first half felt very fast paced because Abrams was attempting to make a trilogy in 2 films. Fans can now basically ignore what happened in 8 other than Luke getting **** on. I liked the thing about all the past Sith lords living in Palpatine and the Jedi ghosts helping Rey make the final push. I guess she's truly a Skywalker because she has the soul of both Leia and Ben inside her. Leia finally lived up to her potential by defeating Palpatine through Rey. I loved when the fleet of friends arrived, and when Luke FINALLY lifted up the Xwing. It was nice seeing the characters from episode 7 back together again. Well done Abrams!

Watched it tonight, I liked more than I disliked. Pretty much the opposite feeling than I had for TLJ. There are still a few parts I don't like, but I guess I'll have to live with it. The pacing is frenetic, so to do this story right it should have been 2 movies instead of one. It's just non-stop, jumping from planet to planet, over a short period of time. I wish it would have taken place over a few weeks, rather than all within a day.

Ouch 8 is a bit early. My son made it until 12-13 before the big storage bins were brought out. But an active kid with friend's and hobbies is a win. After that, I started some holiday build traditions so we would all get into building a kit as a family on special occasions. just want to keep it fun so he will get back into it one day.(I'm sure he'll have hundreds of kits to still sell when I;m gone. HA)

I have almost the whole line of TMNT sets that I was going to build with my 7 year old. He was big into the cartoon when he was 3-4 years old, and I bought a bunch of sets cheap to build with him. Doubt we'll ever do that (of course, there's always a flip side for a flipper). He hasn't been into that show in ages.

It sucks. My biggest regret is not building more when they were interested. I set aside so many sets to build later and that will never happen.

My eight year old decided he's done with Lego and would like to put all of his sets away. He's bagging them up as I type, and this is hitting me harder than I thought it would.
