  1. Agree with this. Mentioned before in the thread, but this series is just funny to me because we really had no clue what the series was going to be like. It's clearly not the Star Wars version of GOT. If it's just 30-45 minutes each ep where we get to spend time in this universe, and the plot advances slowly, I guess I'm OK with that. I thought this ep was awesome. And we did actually get some good mando backstory. Baby Yoda looking at his hands at the end after he was about to try the Force like "did I do that?" was hilarious.
  2. The old man and I at the Packer / Bear game yesterday. Since Shopko is dead and we can't sling Friends sets out of my trunk in their parking lot anymore, we've resorted to dealing before and after Packer games while tailgating at Lambeau Field. Pro tip...save your duds for after the game. It's amazing what people buy when they're drunk. So long Worriz Fire Bikes & Angry Birds, hello profit! By the way...da Bears still suck. GPG!
  3. I don't even want to think about what he was planning on doing with that bottle.
  4. My favorite scene was when Mando was coming for Bill Burr from behind. He was there and not there as the light flickered, coming up closer and closer. It looked like a horror flick
  5. What's up with the hostility? I'm just saying numbers & facts. HERE in Germany BB & PR have about 30€ difference, I don't know or give a f about other markets, so why the passive aggressive behaviour? No sense! You can analyize a lot but what counts are numbers on eBay. DO is is only 10% above PR literally crashed down from 250 to 190. I wouldn't call that performance. Just like I said PR will also rise & drop, so what's the f-ing matter?!

  22. I got this email from eBay today: Your chances of selling have just gone up! Hi Toycentric, Buyers can now make offers on your listing. Your listings that accept offers from buyers have a higher chance of selling because they provide you more opportunities to attract buyers and to make a deal. If you haven’t already, be sure to download our app, so you don’t let any offers pass by. Every offer is an opportunity! If you don’t want to receive offers, go to manage offer settings to update your preference. The best offer accept was set by eBay at 50% of my listing price which was the next lowest BIN to West End Toys. OBTW I did change the seller name so don’t hate
  23. Character development advances the story, if not the plot. I'm fine with "quiet" interludes that give us more insight into Mando.
  24. I think they are going for episodic adventure a la old western, Lone Wolf & Cub, or Samurai Jack. Most episodes barely have anything to do with the overarching main plot, just adventures of main character(s). I am ok with this approach as the SW universe has so many variety of planets and aliens. Feloni also did something similar in Clone Wars series. Most of episodes involving clones took place in some weird planets or space stations. A lot of their adventures or missions did not really advance the clone wars
  25. Since Target is now fulfilling online orders from available stock in stores, it is possible that they sent you a resealed set that someone returned to the store. This also explains the poor packaging and poor box condition. Online orders probably get the 1-2 stranded creased boxes that are ignored by regular customers
  26. Loved it too, all of the actors did great as the mercenaries. Bill Burr surprised me with how well he did.
  27. Got this for $60. Supposedly only two minifigures are missing. My first good deal and two miles from my house!
  28. Hey Y'all, just thought I'd mention It's my one year anniversary as a Brickpicker? Maybe Ill write a "what I've learned and how I've changed strategies and even lifestyle" story similar to PhilB awesome post some time ago, but maybe I won't. Thanks to EVERYONE for being such a sharp wit, generous, heads-up community! Good Luck to all going forward. I Expect Gifts!!!
  29. I'm glad to see you back Buddy.
  30. Which company are you a CEO for? Looks great!
  31. I got two of those by visiting the opening of the Amsterdam Flagship Store. Sold one for €120 which is a bit nuts I think since it's a pretty small box actually! Minimum price on Bricklink is now 145 Euro. Only very serious collectors who must have a set in original LEGO box would actually pay that much for it... Not my picture by the way, but this shows a good comparison of the box with the size of a minifig:
  32. Unbelievable that they haven't changed the box art style. I'm convinced that the inability to see what the set actually looks like must be destroying sales for this theme.

Mine has been rock solid. I've done the one-hand-flip to show to people and it doesn't move at all. LEGO is very interested in quality feedback, so if you have a few minutes ring up the customer service line and explain the issues. They log everything, and would appreciate it. They may throw you some swag or points for your trouble, but more importantly if multiple people report the same issue, they will look into the design or production run. If you have the box seal codes or the parts bag codes, those would be helpful to Lego as well.
  34. Clearly not designed for re-entry.
  35. Nobody has a wish list that is empty! LOL
  36. I think what's causing the..."run from the room" reaction is exactly the show's selling point...its a time warp to 1983...taking parts from Goonies, E.T. and Stand by Me w/ a Nightmare on Elm Street kicker...once you get past the nostalgia factor (a time before internet & cell phones) it's getting to know the main characters and how they develop. After a few episodes the standard plot formula becomes obvious, but it's all good cheesy fun.
  37. Am I the only one looking at this set and mostly thinking, "Ohhh, blue plant leaves"!
  38. That 80’s commercial TLG created for this is probably the best video they’ve ever done.
  39. Not knowing the source material at all, that's what boggles my mind. I need to see it in person (or at least real build pics) to be able to wrap my head around it. Very cool, nonetheless! Edit to add: No sooner did I say that, then LEGO posted this on their Instagram account:
