  1. Agree with this. Mentioned before in the thread, but this series is just funny to me because we really had no clue what the series was going to be like. It's clearly not the Star Wars version of GOT. If it's just 30-45 minutes each ep where we get to spend time in this universe, and the plot advances slowly, I guess I'm OK with that. I thought this ep was awesome. And we did actually get some good mando backstory. Baby Yoda looking at his hands at the end after he was about to try the Force like "did I do that?" was hilarious.

  2. The old man and I at the Packer / Bear game yesterday. Since Shopko is dead and we can't sling Friends sets out of my trunk in their parking lot anymore, we've resorted to dealing before and after Packer games while tailgating at Lambeau Field. Pro tip...save your duds for after the game. It's amazing what people buy when they're drunk. So long Worriz Fire Bikes & Angry Birds, hello profit! By the way...da Bears still suck. GPG!

  4. My favorite scene was when Mando was coming for Bill Burr from behind. He was there and not there as the light flickered, coming up closer and closer. It looked like a horror flick

  5. What's up with the hostility? I'm just saying numbers & facts. HERE in Germany BB & PR have about 30€ difference, I don't know or give a f about other markets, so why the passive aggressive behaviour? No sense! You can analyize a lot but what counts are numbers on eBay. DO is is only 10% above PR literally crashed down from 250 to 190. I wouldn't call that performance. Just like I said PR will also rise & drop, so what's the f-ing matter?!

  16. Both buildings have a cozy warm feeling about them. In fact you could take away the "Birch Books" sign, do a little interior redecorating and have another residential home on your street. Although the bookshop's selection in reading material is a bit light, it is decent for display possibly with room for some additional literature. Overall nothing too exciting or far out; just nice.

  21. I got this email from eBay today: Your chances of selling have just gone up! Hi Toycentric, Buyers can now make offers on your listing. Your listings that accept offers from buyers have a higher chance of selling because they provide you more opportunities to attract buyers and to make a deal. If you haven’t already, be sure to download our app, so you don’t let any offers pass by. Every offer is an opportunity! If you don’t want to receive offers, go to manage offer settings to update your preference. The best offer accept was set by eBay at 50% of my listing price which was the next lowest BIN to West End Toys. OBTW I did change the seller name so don’t hate

  22. Character development advances the story, if not the plot. I'm fine with "quiet" interludes that give us more insight into Mando.

  26. Unbelievable that they haven't changed the box art style. I'm convinced that the inability to see what the set actually looks like must be destroying sales for this theme.

  27. Mine has been rock solid. I've done the one-hand-flip to show to people and it doesn't move at all. LEGO is very interested in quality feedback, so if you have a few minutes ring up the customer service line and explain the issues. They log everything, and would appreciate it. They may throw you some swag or points for your trouble, but more importantly if multiple people report the same issue, they will look into the design or production run. If you have the box seal codes or the parts bag codes, those would be helpful to Lego as well.

  28. Saw these sets in Target yesterday and I think the packaging is horrible - to the point that it could hurt sales. It's very hard to get a sense of what the set looks like without picking up the box & flipping it over. I actually went through the lego aisle without noticing them & had to go back a second time to look for them specifically before I found them. It's a shame because I think the sets themselves are really cool.

  30. Big Bang Theory's selling for $95 on Amazon right now & was pretty easy to pick up for $35. Not amazing but I wouldn't call that tanking either.

  31. I think what's causing the..."run from the room" reaction is exactly the show's selling point...its a time warp to 1983...taking parts from Goonies, E.T. and Stand by Me w/ a Nightmare on Elm Street kicker...once you get past the nostalgia factor (a time before internet & cell phones) it's getting to know the main characters and how they develop. After a few episodes the standard plot formula becomes obvious, but it's all good cheesy fun.

  32. I concur with this. I wasn't a fan initially either, but the show does improve. Also told myself "I'll wait for a good promo or at least double points to pick this set up." My patience lasted only as long as it took me to get off work and casually go see it in person at the store... whoops.

  34. ...which means it's very likely the commercial was actually NOT done by TLG itself (and more likely by the Netflix production team of the series instead)...

  35. That 80’s commercial TLG created for this is probably the best video they’ve ever done.

  36. Not knowing the source material at all, that's what boggles my mind. I need to see it in person (or at least real build pics) to be able to wrap my head around it. Very cool, nonetheless! Edit to add: No sooner did I say that, then LEGO posted this on their Instagram account:
