  1. I'm pretty sure my wife is doing this.
  2. Pathetic. Want to see a real man's pyramid? Read um and weep boys...
  3. Dammit. Cat just nuked it. Train AND the station ??
  4. The MISB only collectors have mostly left the building. Sometimes in the middle of the night, I will wake up, go downstairs (to my storage area), and kick my LEGO (just because I can).
  5. Buying US capitols from Target
  6. Another trip this morn. Will qfll all this and make another trip tonight with fake moustache.
  7. Built the gwp tree and motorized my train last night. The tree is great, much nicer than the short fattie that comes with the toy shop. Train runs smooth when the cats are not smacking it off the rails.
  8. This is when you know you need to step away from LEGO hoarding and have a vacation, my friend LOL
  9. Ha.....but I am the Commanding Officer of a military unit. I get a nice office....until I get promoted to a cubicle next assignment.
  10. Sold a Lego Movie 2 Queen Watevra's 'So-Not-Evil' Space Palace for $53 today through Craigslist that I found at Walmart for .03 cents (.04 cents with tax)!

Oh now I get it, you have to buy more then one to make the real build.
  13. Rich yes. Lazy? Maybe they are earning much more $$$ instead of using the time hunting for deals.
  14. People who are rich and lazy. Just the person I like.
  15. Damn, you have green screen CG

The rear looks like it could serve as an expansion to the upcoming Ideas Sesame Street set.
  17. My local store had so many minis left over that they gave me one today as an extra gift....very nice of them.
  18. Turned a $40 FB Marketplace pick into this! It's like time travel in miniature!
  19. Built this sweet little headphone stand for my desk at work. Found it on Rebrickable https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-0497/kub0slaw/headphones-stand/
  20. Which company are you a CEO for? Looks great!
  21. For the love of Lego, A few friends and I popped the seals on an ADP Saloon last night.(as well as a beverage or two). Shaping up to be a good build. As I've read somewhere before a nice bright light will aid a lot in this build. Those two brown colors and some placements can get tough on even the sharpest eye. These sets do feel like special edition sets, friends impressed with packaging and manual quality for sure.
  22. Bonus tip: It's useful to invest in 10 different colours & shapes to max out your potential profit.
  23. That's how I feel about a majority of the 2020 City line, maybe more folks will seek out the retired sets. The new City sets look very mediocre and appear designed for 4-5 y/o range. After seeing the pictures I wondered if Lego were focusing on younger kids and AFOLs (with a focus for ages in between being star wars and ninjago) but that theory falls flat with this modular, it would seem. Some love, but little.
  24. I'm disappointed, but hey, if LEGO decides to release mediocre modulars, so be it, more people will search for PR instead when it's gone.
  25. I think I will load up on assembly square though when the deal strikes.
  26. It’s not bad, just nothing exciting. Should we expect mediocre from the modular theme moving forward? It’s not like they run out of creativity. The ninjago city is 10x better as a city building.
  27. no doubt. but that turqoise flower pot will do at the housewarming party on Saturday night when the kegger runs empty.
  28. To me it looks a bit short in height? PS was three floors - looks like this will look a bit daft amongst the rest if it's a third shorter ? interiors dissapointing. No bathroom in the house for instance.
  29. Difficult to get here also. Only available at LEGO Shop at Home for first year , then had short limited run at 1 retailer. Took me the entire life cycle of the set to get the numbers I have at discount. Took some imagination to get that discount too.
  30. getting real high tech over here...
  31. Off to the lego store....
  32. $39.99 20th Anniversary Snowspeeder will get you the Obi Wan, 2x Kylo Ren Brickheadz @$39.98 will not. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/snowspeeder-20th-anniversary-edition-75259
  33. Am I the only one who get an error message when trying to buy from S@H ? I have been trying from multiple computers & browsers, and always got "unexpected error" message when putting set in my cart.
  34. It's hard to tell from the photo. I'd like to examine it in person. Which store is this?
  35. nope., i like $$ too much
  36. I sold this promotional tile handed out at the opening of the LEGO Store Amsterdam: for €30. Nice price reduction on my 1989 Batmobile!
  37. Bought a Boeing Dreamliner locally for $150. Not an amazing deal, but I have wanted it forever. This particular sale included the box and instructions, and the box especially seems to be somewhat rare for sales on both eBay and BL.
  38. Classic batcave is quite a mega turd....it is frequently on 50% off which brings it to aud $200.
  39. I think this mod helps with that issue: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-18601/Skecys/ucs-hulkbuster-mod/#comments
  40. Brought a few sets into work today that were buried in my stored away collection! Some minor reassembly required for all three sets.
  41. Care Corner is complete. Total cost was $136.03. This doesn't include the spares from bulk lot purchases in the past that cleaned up most of the bricks... because old spares are free, right? I had purchased a $155 lot that had the first floor, but it arrived smelling like death and cigarettes, so it went back. The real winners of the picture though are the dragons from our "let's take apart all the dragons and build them again" weekly fun. The two headed dragon my toddler inspired "two head's on the dragon, daddy" earned the spot on the Cafe Corner.
  42. Built the candy shop to go with my (yet to be built) hot shot shooting range. This was also designed by Brixonator. Turned out nice. I think it will fit well in my Lego carnival (also yet to be built :p)
