In terms of Star Wars years, Return of the Jedi is set in 4 ABY (after the Battle of Yavin) and The Force Awakens is set in 34 ABY, which means The Mandalorian takes place around 9 ABY.

I honestly don't understand why anyone would give lego money for this. 120 bucks might buy an actual vintage wooden lego toy, I could see someone doing that. I just don't get it.

I didn't see any ships of note IMO. I suppose they could make the Mandolorian's ship, but I didn't think it was anything to write home about.

I think the issue is people speaking with opinions but pretending like they are facts. We all have strategies, but there are newbs here and opinions should be stated as such. And getting modulars for 60% off is great, but unavailable to 99% of us. My take: I’ll take sub-$100 RRP sets bought at 40-75% off all day over big exclusives. When I started, everyone told me to buy exclusives. If I had, I’d still be trying to break even on Tumblers, Towers of Orthanci, Tower Bridges, and Sandcrawlers. Instead, I bought other things and have more than doubled my buying power every year since without adding any more of my own money while paying back my initial investment. Exclusives are certainly a more passive way to do this, but they are not safer and most certainly not the most efficient way to make money.

Their stock price when they bought Star Wars was ~$49 right now it's around $138. I don't have a clue whether or not they have made money on their investment, but it's hard to argue with results like that if you're a stockholder.

I thought it was good, didn’t disappoint. This will definitely have an episodic “Clone Wars” feel, only live action. It definitely left me wanting more. I already subscribed for 3 years with the D23 special. I also have a year free with my Verizon Unlimited plan, so I should be good until 2023.
