  2. Ok, sure... here's some of them. The set # is written on the boxes and the # written in the square is the count of sets in that box. As you can see (and I forgot), I also bought some 72005 when they were on clearance at Kohl's and earned cashback, Kohl's Cash, Yes2You Rewards.

Even if you wait a year and sell the sets bought wholsale at regular price 7% goes to fees, at 15% off you make 8% and at 20% off you make 13% - not a fortune but better than money sitting in the bank at what 2% or 3%... at least that's how i justified the purchase I don't see these going "Café Corner" price wise, but that didn't sell in huge numbers in the beginning, enough to begat "Green Grocer" then modular's went hot!

I looked at the "what if" worst case scenario, most all of the sets are around the 0.10 per part margin (less at wholesale) and there are quite a few HTF parts. So I see absolute worse case is break even, I don't see it as a gamble if ya can't loose other than the time to part them out, which won't be too bad once the inventories show up. At the moment Bricklink is sending members to the resellers on the home page, which is likely getting the high price sales. IF they do this again, that would help.

Thanks a lot, Vodium. It was driving me bonkers. I'll have to contact Amazon about this. Anyone else have issues with Vader's Castle? All my other purchases look to be correct. EDIT: Thanks to your screencap, Vodium, I was able to get the price adjusted! Thanks again!

Yeah. Their invoicing for it was weird. Sadly I had bought the castles the week before so I didn’t get this weeks deal. Got a friend to get me some. Will have to get them to check their invoice I guess. Pics taken from a FB group.
  10. Depends on the set/theme. Homework required.

But they didn't sell all 2500 of each, so its not that bad. Only the Castle and Saloon sold all 2500 as far as I know. They are using a mix of local AFOLs and part time workers, running 2 shifts a day. It took them a few weeks to work out all of the kinks, but they are in a pretty good groove now.

  15. A TALE OF TWO CITIES My Ninjago Cities showed up yesterday. The $72 one from target, shipped with brown packing tape and shipping label stuck on the box. Boo. But it was $72. Yeah. Walmart shipped the City with arrived minty fresh in the Lego brown shipping carton, $252.

They were hand-packing sets in batches 400 or 800. They were trying to get one batch of every set out to try to balance the delays to the customers. They finished the first round of all 13 sets, so the next round is underway. I expect castles and saloons will be appearing soon.
  17. Ditto... the only set I ever bought from Kohl’s that turned into instant gold. Went to every store in South Eastern Wisconsin and grabbed them up at $11. Had a trunk full, wife saw and got upset, don’t worry they will be all sold in a couple weeks. As promised they were sold and paid off the CC + got kohls cash. Had people buying bulk from me at $25 each. ?
