Throw them into the box first, and then put any UCS sets you've ordered on top.6 points

Not a steal, but a good deal I think. This should keep me busy with disassembly and then reassembly for a while, and get fully involved with Technic sets. And once my fun is done, resell them. Back in October, I bought a used 70618 Destiny's Bounty from a kid via OfferUp. His Mom showed me his Technic set collection that wasn't for sale. I said if he ever decided to sell the sets, email me, and I'll have a standing offer of $400. I could tell they were in great shape, well taken care of, and complete. This week the Mom emailed me and said he would take the $400 offer - he's moved on from Technic to Architecture. So, for $400 I bought fully assembled and complete with manuals: Seems like the only thing I'll have to replace is the grey "stones" that come with the Bucket Wheel Excavator and the "log" that comes with the Claas. And I may be able to find many of those parts in the fun box we have.3 points

I think we are mostly adults here. It's OK to have a serious discussion from time to time. I personally think it makes for a vibrant and quality forum and breaks up the monotony. Opinions vary and while I always don't always agree, I try to learn something. I realized long ago there are a lot smarter people than I, but that doesn't always translate to success or a happy life. I try to be somewhat respectful and funny, but that doesn't always work out. Sometimes it's difficult to judge tone or sarcasm on the internet and that is where issues start. Truth is usually somewhere in between all the opinions. Bottom line to me with these bogus bricks is that they are illegal and bad for us collectors and resellers. But I can also agree that LEGO products are overpriced and generally for the affluent and there are millions of kids that will never get the option to play with these great products because they cannot afford them.2 points

Just seen a photo and it’s the same as the 20th Anniversary art print so either they have created it twice (on posters for the stores and art prints for online) or the art print description is wrong and online orders will receive a folded up poster.1 point

We seem to have a Nostradamus in our midst for the U.S Star Wars sales and deals and one that is strong with the Force.1 point

Wow. Nice morning read. For those just waking up: Ronald Reagan is the cause of global warming, and we need more Solyndra companies or the world is going to end from global warming. Typical liberal taking points. All about feelings and not about facts. Anyone else read that electric cars have more CO2 emissions than diesel cars? Oops, doesn’t fit the narrative. I might suggest Milton Friedman’s pencil analogy to better understand the evil capitalists1 point

The news slipped by me and was saddened to hear that Peter William Mayhew (Chewbacca) passed away. Might be time to watch the classics again.1 point

But aren't these countries proof that the theory of socialism and/or communism is flawed by the perverbial Human flaw...absolute power corrupts absolutely? As long as the have and have nots exist...there will be greed and corruption...so far capitalism seems to be the best system in narrowing the gap.1 point

This is what I do not get. We all know how sh*tty these government run health system is, but some people want more of socialized health system??? OTOH, it is sad how much the health care system and the US government are beholden to insurance companies that any provision in medical care is bound by what the insurance would and would not cover. This is the direct result of collusion between government and big business. Not sure what the solution is as the root is too deep. But I know focusing on making either 1 even larger is not the solution to the problem Like I said, the oligarchy is already here.1 point

Bought a used Pirates theme lot off of Craigslist a couple months ago for $500 that I finally got around to building after cleaning the pieces and ordering missing pieces from Bricklink (only missing about $20 worth)... Time to sell them, but I really enjoyed building these. I bought a castle lot at the same time for $400 but I gotta say, the pirates were much cooler and more fun to build. Just too much light gray with the castles... made for very boring builds imo. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

I hope so. Have a lot. Went pretty deep on this promo. It's been a bit slow to start. Pretty limited on what you could buy to get it though so that has some to do with it. Great box though and has the marvel 10 years logo which is pretty cool.1 point
