I have been on the fence, since I saw them. I now have pledges on several designs, I cancelled and repledged more than once. But am now committed. whilst some of these designs are pretty good, with originality and character I didn’t think the packaging was great, however looking at it again, I think it is as good as the LEGO Ideas line, perhaps better, looks kinda “Apple-ish” i am hoping to resell some later on, they will go into storage for a year or more, if there is another series then that will likely kick these into a good investment slot, if there is no take 2 then perhaps not, however as a parts seller the cost/piece is $0.10 or less so I don’t see an actual “real” loss occurring. Worst case is Christmas and birthday gifts! my money on the exclusive piece is a tile with the name like “THE LEGO HOUSE” as in the architecture series, or maybe the number in the run. ... it’s a gamble & time will tell! However LEGO on the packaging, individually numbered and the holographic sticker are a major plus ...just my 0.02

The Mandalorian panel at Star Wars Celebration was fantastic. Tons of footage and eye candy. No matter how bad the plot or dialogue is, the throwback to the original trilogy and action will satisfy many. IG-88 and 4-LOM in action, need I say more? [emoji23]

The weekend was a time to drop the little ones off at their grandparents and visit the Target Country on the way out of town - checking out their 20% off clearance prices. 41153 Ariel Royal Celebration $25 took all 3 70588 Ninjago Tumbler $29 pass (been on the shelves since Xmas at that price) Various Super Hero Girls and Nexo Knights - Hard Pass this visit 75201 Half an AT-ST $31 - at least 10 on the shelves will see if they are still there next visit 75176 Resistance Transport Pod $25 - 8 on the shelf again see if they are there next visit 75136 Droid Escape Pod $15.20 (same price as a battle pack) took the 2 they had on shelf 75118 Captain Phasma $28 (hahaha that will still be there for a while) 75193 & 75194 microfighters $8 each - needed a restock for next toy market 75196 A Wing v Tie Silencer Microfighter $12 x 4 - see how these go at the next toy market 75881 Ford v Ford @23 took the last 4 - no trouble flogging these off at $50 a pop at the last Toy market. A couple of Porg's, BB-8's, Hogwarts Great Hall and Hogwarts Express on the shelves maybe next visit. Love visiting the in-laws

It's likely that most of you know about 40334 Avengers tower promo at shop at home on 19th. I wonder though if a $75 purchase on marvel stuff is worth getting more than one. There is only so much good superhero stuff out there to invest in. If it in some way is a unique stark figure, that would help. Brickfan writes of rumors of new Spiderman sets due on 22nd. Promo runs till 5/2 but stock likely won't stay until then.

I'll be honest, I found it all pretty underwhelming. ? Okay, it's only a teaser, but the teasers for TFA and Rogue One were far superior IMO. Here's hoping the proper trailer is better.

I had hoped that somehow Mara Jade would end up being a student / lover of Luke's and the night Luke confronted Ben she had a premonition to run. She assumed Luke was dead (cause he turned away from the force) and she ended up having a daughter on her own. Luke assumed everyone was dead, including Mara, which caused him to not use the force to reach out for her. Mara, knowing that her daughter (a Skywalker) would be a threat to Kylo Ren and in danger, hid her daughter as far away as possible (Jakku). After all, the Jedi were never allowed to marry. Why? I assume it is because it would produce super-Jedi. I don't buy the "your parents were paupers" line from Kyle Ren. He was trying to manipulate Rey and play off her fears. But love child works too. You never know with Disney.
