  2. I plan on placing mine in a sunny window for all of that UV goodness. But man, the price point on this is a little crazy. It doesn't even come with a holographic sticker.
  3. Disney Mickey Mouse fans will love this LEGO® Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie building toy marking the 90th anniversary of the most famous cartoon character ever. Mickey Mouse made his screen debut in a 1928 black-and-white animated short film called ‘Steamboat Willie’, which was also the first Disney film to have synchronized sound. This LEGO brick version of the S.S. Willie features steam pipes that move up and down and paddle wheels that rotate when the boat is pushed along. The boat’s bridge has room for a minifigure and play-inspiring nautical details such as the ship’s wheel, life buoy and buildable bell. On deck there is a working crane to lift the ‘potato bin’ cargo aboard and this unique toy building set comes with new-for-April-2019 Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse minifigures, each with special silver-colored decoration, plus a parrot figure. An ideal LEGO set for kids and adults to recreate scenes from the original Mickey Mouse cartoon or simply build and display this striking monochrome model. 5. I'm absolutely in if you are doing a Roto 5 x 5. I usually use ESPN and lean that way generally speaking but will do Yahoo if that's what platform you decide to use. Willing do do up to $50
  6. A combo of Flinstones and Steamboat Willy for those #24 collectors out there
  7. It confirms what we all know. The real money maker is the sticker.

  12. Ching ching! Printing mistakes in the first run are always good news for resellers. Shame the price is real. I see there are plenty of coloured bricks used in the base.
  13. I no longer see as much green , now i see red over this black and white set. now I'm blue and just too yellow to buy-in unless huge discount:(
  14. I talked to Jeff behind the scenes and it appears he fixed all of the Max Profit links, so we should be good to go. Let us know if you see anymore errors.
  15. Sold Star Wars Super Star Destroyer this weekend for $820 with free shipping. Shipping cost me $35. Sold Emmet Brick Headz for $75 with free shipping. Shipping cost me $4.
  16. Even eBay doesn't believe you snagged it for that price.
  17. 4 from 3. Not a bad deal! Though I’d argue that box art looks better than real life. Still, Was fun to do with my son.
  18. Hmmm.... Tell me more of this Chima of which you speak.? . O.K. it might not work on me individually. but look were talking about it and someone who missed it may just love that crud. might try bringing it up in a different Lego support group forum? Are those the biggest losers to date? also the freaking tumbler looks great! I can see why mistakes are easy to make in this racket?
  19. Hello everyone, I am new here, so I'll start with a bit of backstory. Back in the day, I was a ravenous LEGO fan, and now I am starting to resurrect all the sets I've kept to give to my daughter. One that's really too big to give her is a large store display for Knights Kingdom from the now defunct Toys 'R Us. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it, maybe a rarity level or even a price. I can obviously look at each set individually, but I couldn't find a similar store display for Knight's Kingdom or even one with a similar display box style (with the large lego block theme). Its completely intact, and even still plays all the back-story about this genre when you press the button. I took some of the cardboard, plastic and plexiglass panels off to start a mild cleaning, but they all are there and snap right back together, even the light works. Includes sets: 65527, 8777, 8781, 8779 and 8730. It's about 4'l x 16"d x 18"t. I'd love to get some opinions on it! Thanks!
  20. subprime? you mean gift for investors. you cannot fathom the depth of disney collector out there. we all like to make fun of how disney tag is a death sentence for star wars set. well for everything else except star wars its the kiss of gold. plus horde has the scent of mouse flesh in its nose as it scurried to acquire mickey and minnie bhz so these will just tickle that itch and hopefully first run is small and snatched. my wife and millennials seem to watch friends reruns over and over again. other than joey, who i can't help but laugh at, i'd rather F5 daily deals than watch another friends episode. still, friends is reportedly the top streamed show on netflix. which i was surprised to find out. i would have thought it would be something more recent. netflix just paid $100 million to extend its exclusive friends streaming contract for 1 year! central perk will be an instant winner. both of these seem rich with initial release qfll-ness.

Toy story is such an inconic series. These figures we’re so well made, and unique.
  22. TLG product development meeting. Dev Manager: Do we have an X-wing out? Dev: Yeah. Manager: Ok so we need another one in a different colour. How about Tie Advanced? Dev: One with the Death Star and one microfighter. Manager: Ok we need a mid sized one too. We´ve got a Falcon out don´t we? Dev: Three. A micro, a playset and a UCS. Manager: And Snowspeeders, where are we at? Dev: Still got a warehouse full of the retiring soon UCS one. Manager: Ok, so just make one new version then and call it limited edition anniversary or some BS like that. Dev: Copy. Say, what if we do a B-Wing - it´s been 5 years since the last one. Manager. You´re fired.
