  10. There’s 95 different builds. That’s not just a few. We are. We are willing to share what is on sale. Some people are willing to make speculations. Some people will share how much they sell something for. But we aren’t here to hold your hand, and tell you what to buy. You need to figure that out yourself. You’ve gotten plenty of good clues in this thread.

  11. Today I finished the Detective’s Office. 2018 was definitely the year of the modular for me. Time to add another shelf!

  13. The Midwest is full of unsophisticated rubes living in trailers and shopping at Wal-Marts. Corn and Hogs. Those not living on either coast are the worst America has to offer. ?
    3 points
  14. Keep in mind the Midwest is more than just the city/state you moved to in your 20s for a job. There are a lot of great people in this region. It can be a bit slower though so the mix of mid-20s and midwest, especially if born on the west coast, is probably a tough transition.

  20. Crazy, almost like there are distinct regions and communities all over these 50 individual states....states that are only united in broad self evident truths. [emoji14] But same here, in the midwest, i am dancing a jig out the door when I get a 50% clearance score because everything disappears quick at 30% Sent from my ancient phone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  21. I could put up with that; for access to exciters Walmart’s. The whole “snow” thing is really the no go though.

  23. "Let's Assume BrickHeadz are done after 2019: What are the Choice Sets?" all of them at the right price point. lowest fba for captain jack sparrow : $25.99 - yeah i 10x'd my money before fees in a year on freakin' jack sparrow - htfb. (photo taken jan22 2018). the best thing about these brickheadz is that they got the numbers on the boxes. don't know why you think these are going to end. they are just getting good.

  26. But do note that if you get frustration-free packaging and foolishly ask for a gift receipt, Amazon may very well open the frustration-free box, slip in the little gift note, and then crush the heck out of the set and the frustration-free box when they seal it back up. So now I don't ask for gift receipts if the option to ship it in a separate Amazon box is offered.

  27. The LEGO shipping boxes are fine to slap a label on. You might consider wrapping them in parcel paper.

  29. For all you BH completionists out there, just stumbled across this one: Looks like a Shanghai store specific promo, coinciding with their opening in 2018. Link to at least one EBay listing here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-2018-Shanghai-2nd-flagship-store-opening-souvenir-Shimao-Brickheadz-6270050/113512216346 (not my listing)

  30. Agree, frustration free means Amazon shipping box + LEGO Shipping Box + LEGO set box. Best way to get a damn near perfect LEGO set box with no shelf wear.

  32. It´s very simple and people seem to want to overthink it. The non licensed ones are subprime and are to be avoided. The first wave from last year took ages to retire and were practically given away (see above photo) yet all are trading above RRP one Xmas later and Captain America and Batman are doing very well indeed. It doesn´t take a rocket scientist to work out which ones are going to do the best from 2018. Popular characters + short life and few discounts = Win. Go Brick Me is also a win provided they don´t pull out a rehash, like with Minecraft crafting box.

  33. the 2nd pic looks really good to me.. Im wondering.. imagine that you are in charge of LEGO design teams.. WHAT would you have the designers to do a year after year.. to meet roughly around 500-700 new sets per year? after a year or two you are just out of ideas.. totally....
    1 point
  34. now.. you dont have to worry a bit since there are still lots of the on the PL market for more or less the original RRP, right?

  37. Thank you for your post ! I also purchased 2 of each. Do not let one person discourage you from posting and/or sharing. That is what I love about this community ! No matter where you go on the internet you will always have a few trolls trying to ruin it for others. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but my folks always raised me not to say anything if you do not have anything nice to say. We all just have to learn to ignore those who are toxic to the community here. Please continue to share and post ! And once again....Thank you for your post ?

  38. Keep posting those deals. It was a good deal and Lego related along with other great deals on the non Lego ornaments. Much better than the questioning deals right after they are posted posts. Or the is this worth it non deal posts. Now if only LEGO can get a lipstick collaboration line I'll be back in business.
