I'm seeing a whole lot of "Deal or no deal" type of questions from the noobs....take those questions to the "Deal or no deal" forum and save this thread for deals..... BTW....some of you guys just need to use that device that's glued to your hands and do your own research to make the right decisions based on your specific budget and strategy. Sorry....little rant23 points

Thanks for the support, y'all. For the record, I filled up the child seat extended cart with 80 Buckingham Palaces, a couple Great Walls (also 50% off), a couple 42079 forklifts at 50% off, and some 50% off elves. Still a lot of technic and elves in this secluded section of Target, most still at 30% off, some at 50%. The rest of the architecture was rrp. This was extremely challenging with a 2.5 year old, so I also had to buy a toy school bus which was definitely not a daily deal. I left 20 in a Target in Houston, TX for anyone who wants them. The cashier at self checkout was extremely helpful even after I maxed out the Red Card and was flagged for fraud by Bank of America. Asked no questions about why I was buying and helped me load them into my car. A Target I visited 4 miles away yesterday was cleared of everything clearance except for 3 Moana sets.6 points

A couple links for the noobs. And for our veterans, there certainly is a better place to post your hauls: Over the last few days my email has been flooded with the prospects of Adventure Time, and questioning half off Elves sets.5 points

My go to line is that I have a problem and am currently in a support group for it, but it's not working. That usually gets a strange look and then silence as they turn around and leave me alone. Or I say that I have a Lego fetish and will be taking a bath in these. That usually gets the same response.5 points

Personally, I feel there is comparatively low demand for this set among Minecraft sets. It didn't move very quickly during the nearly half off sales at several places. I didn't go nearly as deep on this one as I did on 21118 or 21127. At $80ish, I mean you probably can make some money back - but A: I think these will probably survive to next wave of markdowns, and B: I think there's much better things out there to spend your investing budget on. It's early in clearance season. My local LEGO store has these for $80ish right now as well on clearance.4 points

Took care of some business today at a couple of Targets, actually had to leave some half off Elves behind because I ran out of room in my car - for the 64 60% off Chicagos. We will see if I go back for the rest, it was about an hour's drive each way. Sent from my SM-G935V using Brickpicker Forum mobile app3 points

You will pull at least 100% ROI in a year at 25$ buy in. Do it if you can afford it.3 points

generally the only thing anyone talks of about LEGO and WM is clearance though... but again if we can confuse terry at all into buying something by the masses I'm all for it.3 points

maybe - too early to say but there's no price to that giddy giggly rush you get when the incredible 5 year old inside of you comes out grabbing these by the handful and literally shelf swiping 6 at a time in to your other arm . there was an entire endcap of these . 5 shelves. i couldnt' even take them all there were like 16 left. as i'm grabbing sets and giggling outloud to myself, a nearby weathered wizened clearance hag & her future hag daughter at the next endcap over are becoming curious about what could they have possibly missed that i am throwing these down fast and furious like they are kilos from pablo. "what are u - an amazon seller or something?" - why yes - yes i am - what was the tip off?" lol.3 points

I have to make two trips. 86 miles round trip each time. I originally discovered this after I found 21033 Chicago's for $15.98 via the app. Turns out they had 2. But.... 44x 42079 Forklifts marked lower in store @ $22.48 52x 41195 Emily & Noctura's Showdown @ $22.48 18x 21029 Buckingham Palace's @ $24.98 63x 21032 Sydney's @ $14.98 27x 76099 SH Rhino Face Off's @ $9.98 1x 41318 Hospital @ 69.98 4x 21041 Great Walls @ $24.98 8x 41196 Treebat's @ $34.98 11x Ron & Dumbledore BH @ $9.98 4x Marty BTTF BH @ $9.98 7x Hermoine BH @ $4.98 12x Various City - mostly Jungle @ 60% off - (50% off the already 20% off list price) 8x 75167 Bounty Hunter Battle Packs @ $7.48 16x Various Ninjago Movie - highlight was 2x Temple Ulitmate Weapon's $49.98 2x calls to credit card company confirming charges while annoyed soccer mom's looked on. I ended up passing on most of the 50% off 75887 Hybrid Porsches... I can't sell via FBA and not sure about that one post retirement. I am having a few drinks tonight.2 points

I just tried to buy 20 and it said the limit was 5. I placed an order for 5 that went through. I tried to place another order and it poofed. It looks like I got the last 5. I think what it means is that everyone was too busy chasing the 30-40% Walmart shenanigans when the truly good deal could have been ordered from their sofa. I'm surprised that nobody was talking about this and that they lasted this long. Thanks OP. Great deal.2 points

Armswept a six deep shelf of 42076 technic hovercrafts for 40...here is hoping i won't regret that. Hit 4 targets total. 1 was a complete strike out, 2 were pretty descent and 1 was a jackpot. Like people behind you in checkout have their eyes popping out as set after set comes out of the cart kind of jackpot. Overall a good day.....not amazing but a good day. I just spent an hour checking about ten stores on the app and cross referencing with the tracker. Nothing in this wave excites me except Surfer Vans, Pirate Coasters, and Indoraptors. Very little inventory out there, so there won't be any bad decisions or poker table pictures until further markdowns. I didn't feel like leaving the house tonight anyway. ?2 points

That is SO INSANE. 72 of those, guaranteed cash money, about to retire, and you got it 50% off of an already 20% sale price. And then 5% red card (I hope). Let's say they conservatively move from 40 retail to 70 as they dry up, probably less than a year for all the B&N to dry up. You're basically picking up 50 dollar bills every time you ship one. $3600 profit in one find. Probably one of the greatest retail hauls I've seen on here. Better than the great Yellow Submarine heist from Target? Maybe.2 points

As this year comes to a close, we have much profit to be thankful for. 12 months of buying, selling, and dealing with the wonderful customers. Was there anything special for you that stood out this year? A great deal on an item to flip? Flip something for an out of this world profit? A special customer who really made your year? A special buy was finding someone's hidden stash of First Order Star Destroyers. A special sale was flipping 50 x 75119 Jyn Erso Buildables for a $450 profit I also had a very "special" buy on eBay that offered me a bag of used marital aids. Thankfully he didn't deliver. Everyone else have a fun and profitable 2018?1 point

If you hold, where do you think the price will be in a year? (My guess is 3x min sale price, or $75) Is there any other asset you could double a $500 investment in within 12-18 months? Or you could flip quick to other BPer's, for a gain of $5-15/ea, either here, or on bricklink or ebay. I'm small time, but I wouldn't hesitate to pick up 10. If you have the cash available, and a wife that's on board with it, an arm sweep wouldn't be crazy. Worst case, you can dump the lot in bulk on ebay or bricklink and break better than even.1 point

It's a substantial set for $60-$70 IMO and worthy of stockpiling a few. Minecraft sets are appealing only to those who have played the game or have experience with the game. I used to laugh at the sets until my son started playing the game and I realized how great the game was and how closely the sets replicated the game.1 point

Don't forget that these have been clearanced before at retailers - many have bought them at $55 or lower, which puts you at a disadvantage when selling. EDIT: And for every tale of Ender Dragon there is also the tale of the Nether Fortress - still hasn't broken RRP on Amazon, and was available forever ... I still have a local store with 8 of these in stock at 10% off RRP.1 point

A major metro area with plenty of BrickPickers. 2018 isn't 2017, though. The point was that even if Achilles thinks Ocean Monument has been a slow mover, so was The Fortress.1 point

Its a pretty good discount, better have been seen but still good. Good set and unlikely to see a remake. I would bite, if you have the space to store and don't mind potentially siting on them for awhile.1 point

well, B&N online has it for $7.49 and in stock. You can have target do the price match and walk out with good condition box1 point

Sort by quantity. You won't get an exact number but the store with the most will come up first. An hour ago I was in a store and did this. The store I was in was #2 on the list and had 4 of a set, so I knew #1 likely had 4 or more. Sent from my LG-M153 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

Amazon will probably refund a decent amount and let you keep it. They have no use for that set.1 point

My MF shipped with Walmart for in-store pickup. Been delayed twice already. Last tracking information was two days ago saying "on truck for delivery." Not a huge deal, but I'm starting to get annoyed because I just want the dang thing already.1 point
