yeah, I had to fight back some resistance from them saying that they aren't the same product. I finally give them the UPC number and asked them to put it in both walmart and target search fields. Sure enough the same product had came up and convinced him do match it. I just got confirmation from target that my MF has shipped. Thank You, Target!

I loved White Castle growing up (still do). I don't have any local, but during a trip, I was thrilled to see one and finally get the chance to have my kids enjoy them! Of course, my kids thought that they were absolutely disgusting - It was a sad moment for daddy, but I guess that's what I get for spoiling my kids with actual food.

To me, just look at the set itself. The Brick Bank is a nice looking build. It is also a bank, which every town needs. People always assume early retirement is about sales. Sometimes it’s about cost of producing a set vs. the return of selling it. I think the Town Hall was an expensive set to produce for LEGO. Maybe the Brick Bank is a similar situation. Decent sales, but it didn’t make LEGO enough money to keep around.

May be a bit more challenging the next 3-4 years. Equities are now in a confirmed bear market, inflation is rearing its ugly head while Trump is pressuring the Fed to stop raising rates to try and stave off the mother of all crashes until after the 2020 election. Housing is beginning its tumble. The euro experiment looks to be ending badly. Things have been rosy the past 10 years for discretionary spending but we are going to see real pain in 12-18 months the likes of which we may have to go back to the late 70s and early 80s to see. Lots of questions and unknowns heading our way which won't make for a good environment for people spending money they don't have on plastic bricks. Sorry to be a downer but it is looking incredibly bad. Stay careful this one is going to hurt.

This is my hometown and I'm excited to hear about this. I don't have any other architecture sets but will have to buy one of these. Thoughts: Ugh, I can't believe they included the new ugly Salesforce Tower. The dang building is such an eyesore to the existing skyline. Coit Tower looks a bit phallic. I like that they included the Painted Ladies. Alcatraz looks amazing. As another member mentioned before, the Sentinel Building would've been a nice inclusion. The old Bank of America Building at 555 California is a nice addition. It's not as well known as other landmarks here in SF, but the locals know it. The Ferry Building with its clock would've been nice to have. I think it would've been pretty easy to incorporate into the narrow build. Here's a picture from my office this morning. Our signature overcast weather with a view of the old Bank of America and Transamerica buildings.

Of course they will. But at least 30% off is a good threshold for me with BHz. They're cheap enough that I'm not going to worry about the extra dollar or two I might save if I wait, since these are just for personal build. Investment wise, I'll wait until they drop a lot more.
