Just sold a couple of Ninjago sets 2507 Fire Temple and 2521 Lightning Dragon. Both were new, but the guy I bought them from cut the seals to show me the bags were sealed. He did so because he was selling three Ninjago sets as "new" but one of them was partially built. So I questioned the other two, which I really wanted. So for $30 investment, just sold the pair for $290. With ebay max fee of $10 / set, even more profit for me. I actually need to give a shout-out to my wife who spotted these at a garage sale. As annoyed as my wife gets about my LEGO... habit, she must really love me to bring these to my attention. lol

I love that line and it seems very underappreciated/undervalued.

First time paying over RRP for a retired set. Picked up 10193 Medieval Market Village NISB for $160 shipped off of EBay. Set has been on my list ever since I came back out of my Dark Ages. The 15% off coupon helped sweeten the deal, and so did the $15+ in EBay Bucks I earned (and since EBay bucks are calculated BEFORE coupons are applied, it worked out to almost 10% EBay bucks instead of the 8% offered in the promo).

Well, if you had to build each box for each order, yikes! It certainly can. I did that for a couple orders (a few years back) and DECLARED OUT LOUD for all to hear: "I will NEVER run out of boxes of the appropriate sizes AGAIN. If I DO, I will GO TO A STORE and PAY A PREMIUM for what they have on hand."

A word to the wise...even if you "win" this fight with the buyer, you can still lose and lose far more than the cost of that Scuttler. A pissed off buyer can f*** your world up as a seller on Amazon very very easily and in ways that are not easy to defend against. With a buyer like this, you are much better off swallowing your pride and sense of righteousness and just issuing a refund. I do this all the time and detest doing it every time...until I check my Amazon balance.

I put a piece of tape over the FBA sticker and then slap a couple Sold As A Set - Do Not Separate stickers on it.

Five minutes ahead of time, I created an account, had my address set up, then went to checkout with another item, added my CC info, then deleted that item, then F5'd Hogwarts until 1:00:05 CT when it showed up, added to cart, added my CCV which I of course have memorized, and pressed go and I guess got lucky. Got my e-mail confirmation at 1:00:44 CT.

They are unique prints of claire and owen, though the figs themselves are not unique. Malcom is fully unique. Dino is 100% not unique.

FBA is great for in stock items, meaning they are available and not in FC transfer status. 1st year doing FBA and can’t be happier. eBay on the other hand has been extremely disappointing. Last year I’d sell 10–12 items per day on eBay. This year, so far, maybe 1. Sometimes 0 sales. Going to go pro on FBA after the New Year, once the post Christmas sales start to slow and everyone has burned their gift cards.

California Will Enforce Economic Nexus Requirements in 2019 Beginning April 2019, California will enforce economic nexus requirements. Out-of-state retailers with $100,000 in sales or 200 transactions in California during the 2018 tax year will need to collect and remit use tax to the state. In addition, these retailers also will be required to collect and remit use tax to local jurisdictions. The new collection requirement will apply to taxable sales of tangible personal property to California consumers on and after April 1, 2019, and is not retroactive. Retailers reaching either of the above sales thresholds are now required to register with the CDTFA to collect the California use tax even if they were not previously required to register. These retailers include retailers that sell tangible goods for delivery into California through the Internet, mail-order catalogs, telephone, or any other means.

You son of a...I was eying that set earlier and failed to pull the trigger in time since it suddenly sold out on me. Oh well. I got the next lower one for $169 after all was said and done. This is a cool set after all and worth it.

This set brought me out of my dark ages! To make you feel better maybe, I paid full RRP AND shipping from Shop at Home. No free shipping then! Edit: $121.48 with tax and shipping. December 2010. Edit edit: I also bought it without any gifts with purchase.

I put in 4 orders of 4 (£314) with cash back which made each set £20, then I had a free classic pack with each order worth £20. Each of the 3 in 1 packs was in it's own shipping box. Collected them 12 days ago and sold them all for £39.95 and the last classic pack sold yesterday for £19.95 too. Worked out around £13 per box profit shipped and all I had to do with stick a label on them and take them to Hermes with the rest of my orders. Sold some on Facebook too which helped get the profit closer to £14 per box. No idea why people were buying them from me when Asda had them for £25.

be sure and use the regular GOO GONE the extra, and if you take a set like the Camper which has a flat paint, it will smear the paint, the sets that have the gloss finish usually it does not hurt the box.

Got an R2D2 UCS set 10225 for £100 posted (Box in great condition, not excellent, all pieces counted for and Instructions!) on local FB marketplace.

TLG have been smart because with one set they cater for Xmas series fans, train fans and people who are making their own lego towns.

I think Lego could have really made a stellar set and bumped the price to 119.95. Ive scene quite a few holiday train stations in Ideas and they are considerably better then this. That being said there is certainly money to be made with this one. Especially if you can get it at a discount............

It doesn't look like 1000 pieces set at all. I'm tad disappointed. especially for the price tag. but the fact is once it retires it will immediately go for 1.5 and later 2x RPP.
