Means nothing. They usually tag expensive exclusives with this. Could possible stand for 'Hard to find enough money to pay for it'2 points

Just sold a couple of Ninjago sets 2507 Fire Temple and 2521 Lightning Dragon. Both were new, but the guy I bought them from cut the seals to show me the bags were sealed. He did so because he was selling three Ninjago sets as "new" but one of them was partially built. So I questioned the other two, which I really wanted. So for $30 investment, just sold the pair for $290. With ebay max fee of $10 / set, even more profit for me. I actually need to give a shout-out to my wife who spotted these at a garage sale. As annoyed as my wife gets about my LEGO... habit, she must really love me to bring these to my attention. lol2 points

First time paying over RRP for a retired set. Picked up 10193 Medieval Market Village NISB for $160 shipped off of EBay. Set has been on my list ever since I came back out of my Dark Ages. The 15% off coupon helped sweeten the deal, and so did the $15+ in EBay Bucks I earned (and since EBay bucks are calculated BEFORE coupons are applied, it worked out to almost 10% EBay bucks instead of the 8% offered in the promo).2 points

Well, if you had to build each box for each order, yikes! It certainly can. I did that for a couple orders (a few years back) and DECLARED OUT LOUD for all to hear: "I will NEVER run out of boxes of the appropriate sizes AGAIN. If I DO, I will GO TO A STORE and PAY A PREMIUM for what they have on hand."2 points

A word to the wise...even if you "win" this fight with the buyer, you can still lose and lose far more than the cost of that Scuttler. A pissed off buyer can f*** your world up as a seller on Amazon very very easily and in ways that are not easy to defend against. With a buyer like this, you are much better off swallowing your pride and sense of righteousness and just issuing a refund. I do this all the time and detest doing it every time...until I check my Amazon balance.2 points

I’ve been double-boxing most of my smalls this year to prevent the envelope crushing nonsense. Crossing my fingers I have fewer returns this year.1 point

They are unique prints of claire and owen, though the figs themselves are not unique. Malcom is fully unique. Dino is 100% not unique.1 point

This is also the state that requires you to put a warning sticker on anything sold since everything may cause cancer1 point

I know this isn't LEGO related, but DC Universe has discounted their service to $59.99 - good until 12/20. Had to pick this up...1 point

I don't think I will be signing up for this. According to the CDTFA we already have a nexus because we have inventory stored in CA fulfillment centers. Didn't register for that. Hopefully sanity will prevail and they will pass a law for marketplaces to collect for CA. With 50 different tax jurisdictions it is going to be a nightmare unless you shell out for some spendy tax software. The internet sales tax in this country is a complete joke. Glad I will be retiring at the end of 2019.1 point

Interesting, my 2x 21143 Nether Railway from Best Buy came in pristine boxes in a large cardboard box, filled with at least 30 air pockets. Box was flimsy and had a few dents, but sets were great.1 point

OT: Ah MMV, 1 of my 1st investments. Bought 1 at around MSRP with plan to double my money in 2 years. The audacity of the young and inexperienced. I was lucky I broke even after 4 years1 point

I put in 4 orders of 4 (£314) with cash back which made each set £20, then I had a free classic pack with each order worth £20. Each of the 3 in 1 packs was in it's own shipping box. Collected them 12 days ago and sold them all for £39.95 and the last classic pack sold yesterday for £19.95 too. Worked out around £13 per box profit shipped and all I had to do with stick a label on them and take them to Hermes with the rest of my orders. Sold some on Facebook too which helped get the profit closer to £14 per box. No idea why people were buying them from me when Asda had them for £25.1 point

I sold over 40 Fire Stations over the last few days @ $110 and remaining 10 @ $120 , both with $24.97 shipping. I didn't know they were going to be so hot. Bought all of them for $50+tax at Walmarts few months back. Sold last one today for $130 + shipping1 point

Picked up a large lot on Craigslist for $150. Unfortunately, no instructions. Sets were put together still for the most part. I've been able to identify the following sets. No idea if they are complete yet, but I was able to go through the large bucket of figures and find that at least they are all included for each set that I've identified thus far. Here's what we've located to this point: 3181-1 Passenger Plane 4202-1 Mining Truck 4203-1 Excavator Transporter 4209-1 Fire Plane 4432-1 Garbage Truck 4439-1 Heavy-Lift Helicopter 4738-1 Hagrid's Hut 4842-1 Hogwarts Castle 5868-1 Ferocious Creatures 7037-1 Tower Raid 7048-1 Troll Warship 7094-1 King's Castle Siege 7097-1 Trolls' Mountain Fortress 7498-1 Police Station 7947-1 Prison Tower Rescue 9465-1 The Zombies 9469-1 Gandalf Arrives 9474-1 The Battle of Helm's Deep 9476-1 The Orc Forge 10188-1 Death Star (Boxes 2, 3, and 4 are all still sealed) 10193-1 Medieval Market Village 21105-1 The Village 21106-1 The Nether 31005-1 Construction Hauler 60001-1 Fire Chief Car 79000-1 Riddles for the Ring 79001-1 Escape from Mirkwood Spiders 79002-1 Attack of the Wargs 79003-1 An Unexpected Gathering 79010-1 The Goblin King Battle Not a bad haul for $1501 point

TLG have been smart because with one set they cater for Xmas series fans, train fans and people who are making their own lego towns.1 point

I think Lego could have really made a stellar set and bumped the price to 119.95. Ive scene quite a few holiday train stations in Ideas and they are considerably better then this. That being said there is certainly money to be made with this one. Especially if you can get it at a discount............1 point

The station could be bigger but I hear Lego is customizable so I'm ok with it. Always happy to have a new winter set.1 point
