Dalmatians, in particular, we're used in the late 19th century and early 20th century to run along-side horse-drawn fire wagons to serve as a barrier between the horses/wagon and other people and animals on the street, as the wagon raced through to a fire. It's small, but loaded with historical trivia such as this.

Seeing as how they complemented the holiday train with the station the following year, I assume we'll be getting 10264 Fire at the Children's Orphanage next year.

I like it. Just wish the station have a bit more depth. Get rid of the ice rank and the tree and spend more effort on the station. I was expecting something more complete, perhaps, like the Bakery or Toy Shop? They can always sell a Christmas Tree as a polybag.

A fire station seems to make sense in this line; with the winter village expanding, they need someone to extinguish all the house fires caused by faulty Christmas lights!

Actually that would be a cemetery if we wanna be nitpicks. Technically, a graveyard is only a graveyard when attached to a church, hence the 'yard' part. ? Otherwise it's a cemetery. Though a lot of people use the words the same.

I liked the scene with the shootout in the donut shop. I actually wrote about it for my final exam essay in a little intro to film criticism class I took my freshman year of college. Had to pick a short scene in a movie and discuss all the color symbolisms and metaphors and such. Got a perfect score and a few extra credit points, professor said it was one of the best in the class.

I just watched Boogie Nights tonight. Man, that film is a masterclass of character actors. Burt Reynolds, Don Cheadle, William H. Macy, John C. Reilly, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Luis Guzman. Wow. And the soundtrack was spectacular. The best word I could describe the movie as is 'confident'. It reminded me a bit of Pulp Fiction. I also did a bit of research and found out the lead role of Dirk Diggler (Mark Wahlberg) was originally intended for Leonardo DiCaprio, but he turned it down for another film. That movie, some obscure little B-movie called 'Titanic' or something. ?

BTW should be clear but this is genius packaging. Same size as a $100-$120 regular set. The box has some weight too, going to look good for Timmy from Santa and I bet Costco goes through these fast for that price.

I made a $650 sale via Bricklink that included my only two Piggy Pirate Ships (163% gain), all four Riddler Riddle Racers (460% gain), and my only three Nexo sets, Jestro's Volcano Lair (59% gain). What makes this sale more notable is that it pushed my "cash on hand" total to over $10,000 for the first time ever (combined PayPal and actual cash). I'm stacked on cash for the next round of Walmart price drops, but that isn't coming........ Not sure how my $10k stacks up against others in this hobby (and it doesn't matter), but I feel like that's a good landmark and makes me feel like I'm coming out ahead on this. Someday I might even tell my wife how much cash on hand there is! Knowing that within 24 hours of that announcement, there will be someone at the house generating a quote for new floors on the main level.

if its an expensive small set like a speed champions or an elves set, I will pre-package the item in its own small outer box with fba stickers placed on both the item inside and also on the outside of the box with the sticker saying complete set do not open. boxes cost 50 cents. i have sold many dozens of $50+ small speed champions sets , had no returns or complaints and gotten some positive feedback. for cheaper small friends sets or microfighters, you just have to hope the person ordered a few things and not just your little lego otherwise its gonna be smooshed. in order to avoid having to do recalls/removals, i am focusing on only sending in small steady stream of sets where i am willing to immediately compete on price and make a sale to increase my FBA sell-through and to avoid having to remove any slow inventory which ultimately costs you money in damaged goods + storage fees and harms your sell-through and excess inventory components of your inventory performance metric. at some point in the future, that metric could be the new gate that comes down on sellers and i want to be on the right side of that number if and when it happens.

Order from a distributor (you won't be ordering Lego sets but rather other Lego branded merchandise). Submit invoices. Super easy.
