  11. Last of 13x 44029 Queen Beast vs. Furno, Evo & Stormer that I found at a couple of LEGO-selling Hallmark stores in January. Their LEGO has been on sale for 25% off all year. They clearly seem to want to divest of their LEGO inventory, but they're stuck with Constraction, Nexo Knights, Chima, TMNT, and Joker Steamrollers. Buy-in $27.81 and I sold them for $70-$90 each.

  20. The Kessel Mine Worker is at LegoLand currently. I tried to get one, but all the clerks (even the punk high school kids) stuck the rule that this polybag could only be purchased with a coupon that went out to annual pass members. They had the Mine Worker and DJ.... didn't have "dirty solo" though haha I don't even collect these but was irritated I couldn't get one. LOL

  23. March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cried again a year later when my daughter was born. I cried tears of joy when my beloved Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl 31 after three decades of mediocrity, and again when they won Super Bowl 45. The last time I cried was two years ago this April when my Mom passed away. March 30, 2018. Today is another day that I've sobbed like a baby. Upon waking up for work, I checked my phone like I always do. Waiting for me was a PayPal notification. A large one. I checked my Bricklink account, and it appears that some blessed soul has decided that they needed some Steam Rollers in their life. Yes, some Steam Rollers. All of them. 27 to be exact. Gone. Purchased by an unknown person. A risk taker. A gambler. A guardian angel, perhaps? I began this saga with over 50 of those Steam Rollers. I'd sell one here, one there through multiple platforms, slowly chipping away at that number. I whittled it down to 27. Now I have 0. They are gone. The purchase price was just a shade over $1k. I'll make a few bucks on each one after the usual fees and shipping, but that's not the point in this circumstance. The nightmare is finally over. March 30, 2018 is my Independance Day.

  34. yeah, this would be cool. lego can even start the design by 'copying', i mean borrowing from the hold kenner toy. of course, lego will probably end up making it a $19.99 set with a 100 total elements that will resemble what Kenner did w/o walls.

  42. I've had some items arrived poorly packed, but I've only been hit by an eBay scammer once (a simpsons house ~6 months ago :( ). Too many people scoffing at listings assuming there is no way someone would sell at that price, while I'm busy messaging sellers. So many people out there have no idea the true value of an item just trying to unload it... truly an online yard sale at times. I roll the dice on listings like this all the time and it makes for large profit. I've had my highest profit margins on old retired sets bought and flipped right back on eBay. Worst case if I get garbage sent to me is that I pack it up just how it arrived and set it out for pickup. Not really a difficult process. But I'm not assuming bogus bricks with the Lego booklet, but we're all surprised from time to time. Indeed. I figure a large enough bag I can flip individually. It's a new market for me, but someone around here has to have it cornered already. Is there a price discrepancy based on size and color? Any rare items out there I should be on the look for? _____________________________________________________ Received the email from the seller yesterday evening saying the item was shipped. So the iShip notification I received with the tracking information has the dimensional weight at 44 pounds. Which UPS standard shipping is 140.55 CAD, ouch. Double that in case of a SNAD and it almost equals the price paid. Item has already been picked up and is in route. This would be my second sub $300 SSD after this one a couple months ago. Ended up flipping the other 4 sets and getting the SSD down to below $200. Granted, the listing below was up for weeks from a 0 feedback seller. There is essentially no risk rolling the dice with eBay/Paypal protection... but always communicate with the seller first. So many new people on eBay just dumping stuff. These MILFFL type listings are the best though. Mom I'd Like to Fleece For LEGO. I'll provide an update, win or lose, when the item arrives. I just hope in the case of an issue that his dad doesn't work for the FBI like the other guy.

  43. Would love a UCS or architecture style Temple from the Canyon of the Crescent Moon, or Petra Or maybe even the interior with the 3 challenges the German Tank from Indy 3 Mola Ram's sacrifice Alter Also, I wonder if the recent news that the movie has been pushed back will alter the Lego schedule at all?

  44. Seems like a way to get a Sandcrawler out for mass release to the kids. Not a lot of parents would spend over $300 on a vehicle that appears in a 40 year old movie for about 5 minutes.
