  2. This is my pick for Bond vehicle. Complete with Pegasus statue on top ?
  3. Leave my Wal Marts alone. I’d buy you a drink, but I’m in Columbia for an Imagine Dragons show. PM me if you want any restaurant or activity recommendations. Unfortunately the areas best boat captain is out of town.
  4. I looked at a commercial building that I'll hopefully be purchasing to run a non-official Lego retail store from...

  6. We toured that last year when we were in the area for spring break. Had a great time. Check out Fort Sumter too if you have time.
  7. Those two sets will be spending the rest of eternity in WM clearance purgatory.
  8. This model obviously has some of the car's functions, which warranted some compromise on design. The bumper is sticking out to hide the license plate mechanism: if you look closely, the license late is on an axle. The machine guns are likely hidden under the hood, and given the construction of the roof the ejector seat is working. So this model has to be evaluated differently from the other Expert vehicles because they do not have any functions. If everything works as intended, this is a great set.

  10. Problem is, if there is another chase character the set you get probably won't have the 1x that is in the box like the S18 Policeman.
  11. Yeah, that’s what she said...
  12. Next step is the Reconcile tab. Hopefully they'll investigate and suddenly find them or reimburse. There's a good chance you'll get the inventory. I have, on multiple occasions, resorted to attaching photos of the box contents with the label in the picture to cases asking for reimbursement if they don't properly reconcile after another week or two past the reconcile date. It has seemed to help (or perhaps it's just the re-opening of the case again and again and asking them to check again). I have, on multiple occasions, failed and wound up losing sets that I know were in the box with no reimbursement. On the other hand, I have also had them over-count boxes, tell them "unexpected" in the reconciliation, and even open a case saying those were not in the shipment. Still, they stuck to the counts and once I sold the sets -- low and behold -- they couldn't find them to ship to the customer and wound up reimbursing me for them. I suppose it kinda works out. However, the worst was when I had a couple large boxes come in for Christmas in the fall (50 pound limit for non pallets!) and they failed to receive something like 95% of the inventory (like you). Eventually back and forth with reconciliation, had to provide receipts, and they reimbursed me a few weeks later. Then -- and this really takes the cake -- they "found" the inventory after Christmas, deducted the reimbursement, and I was left with loads of Advents, Holiday sets, etc in January or February. It blows, but, cost of business with Amazon. Hopefully they reconcile!
  13. There are only two kinds of 7 yr olds - those who like building Lego and those who haven’t properly been exposed yet
  14. Not for another 3 years. Why the rush? Time and price will be on your side later down the line. Your wife is always right in any case.
  15. As the DB5 is a beautiful car, I tried looking up an image of the car for comparison sake. This link was the first to appear: https://jalopnik.com/the-leaked-aston-martin-db5-lego-kit-looks-like-its-in-1827377851 Admittedly, I think the scale LEGO chose is working against them in this instance. With such curves as the original has, LEGO would either end up with way more pieces or have to go to a larger model. And if the price is really $140-$150ish already, I can't imagine what a higher piece count would end up costing.

We are taking orders on boxes for $219 each. Please DM us with your paypal e-mail address if you are interested in receiving an invoice. International shipping is $25 a box, so let us know if you are an international customer. We are looking forward to it!
  17. I'm still getting 50 gallon lube recommendations, you'll be alright.
  18. so i think we were right here. none of the sets returned to me had my fba on them, all were label free. the mofo is using amazon for free shipping is my guess, then he returns it to Amazon with free shipping also. if a customer returns a damaged unit to him , he throws that in.
