  1. When is "too soon" to start selling these? I feel like I need one.
  2. Why the hell you always got a problem with people? Name calling etc... One more time and I’ll raid stores in your area and that will be it for your lego adventures lol
  3. Which one is Cedric? I only know The Entertainer.

I didn't read anything you wrote but watched the gif several times.
  5. Press release is already out to fan sites. The set will be 2321 pieces! Box shot looks very appealing! Can't show it, as it's still under embargo.
  6. that is cute.. people still think there is any value in collecting "rare" figures?!?! ...

Me before the Marvel crackdown: Me after the Marvel crackdown:
  8. Not even mad that it was a terrible pitch.
  9. When I text, autocorrect lowers my IQ about 30 points, down from 35.
  10. Isn't autocorvette supposed to help with that
  11. It’s enough to cause your fabulous hair to turn grey and brittle.
  12. thank goodness it is not Star Wars , need to move the rest of my Jyn Erso and Rose Tico figs...
  13. He wrote something? Well, there was a baseball, and a bubble, in that GIF. But I don't think it relates to baseball cards.
  14. Since it seems like we're all in a pissy mood, my only contribution to this thread is that they only thing that the Brickshow takedown revealed to me was that I really dislike M&RProductions. I was on the fence before, but his video where he "broke" the news was really childish.
  15. He saw Nico, and thought “if he can have such luxurious locks, why can’t I?”
  16. My customers do, which is the only thing that matters to me
  17. It has nothing to do with the size of the infringer...it has to do with the mechanism to address the enforcement. It's easier to send a takedown notice to Youtube than sue a contract manufacturer in China. That doesn't mean you don't go after the manufacturer, but it's easier, faster and far more visible when you go after the Youtuber Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app Ha! If you think corporate lawyers make a fat check for taking down a single youtuber, you're further revealing the depths of your ignorance. Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  18. the one with the yellow torso .. . he was killed in the GoF ( spoiler alert ) TAKE MY MONEY MINIFIGURES PLUS
  19. I bought two large Power Ranger Lion Fire Fortress Zord for $30/each last night. I had been drinking and thought it was a good idea. I'm positive I was wrong. They had virtually nothing left but these things, and there were easily 50 of them. That should have been a clue. Drunk people don't pick up on clues.
  20. I think the consensus ranges from “everybody panic” to “go to bed and see what happens tomorrow”
  21. Ooo yes. I'd sport that as well. Although this is my favorite T.
  22. And the rich get richer. eBay auto refunded me when the item was marked as delivered, and the message came in just a few moments after the transaction went through. ^^ I bet the FBI can check the DNA. I wonder if his daddy gets a shipping discount?
  23. You’d think LEGO would want to support their most popular reviewers, instead of having them banned.
  24. https://www.brothers-brick.com/2018/06/26/lego-dc-super-heroes-76117-batman-mech-vs-poison-ivy-mech-revealed-news/lego-dc-super-heroes-76117-batman-mech-vs-poison-ivy-mech-1/ That is NOT a "mech vs mech".... That is a "mech vs a lame tree"
  25. Come on, do you really need an excuse to raid the stores in his area? Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  26. No minifigs. The front of the box shows Voltron combined, wielding a large brick-built weapon in his right hand.
  27. Professor Flitwick (+ wand, megaphone) Voldemort (+ wand, Nagini) Harry Potter (+ wand, Hedwig) Dobby (+ sock, book) Dean Thomas (+ wand, flag) Cedric Diggory (+ wand, Triwizard cup) Cho Chang (+ wand, owl) Neville Longbottom (+ wand, mandrake) Draco Malfoy (+ wand, broom, golden snitch) Professor Trelawney (+ wand, tea cup) Hermoine Granger (+ wand, Crookshanks) Luna Lovegood (+ wand, Quibbler, bag) Ron Weasley (+ wand, Scabbers) Mad-Eye Moody (+ wand, walking stick) Harry Potter (with cape) (+ wand, invisibility cloak) Albus Dumbledore (+ wand, Pensieve) Newt Scamander (+ wand, briefcase, Niffler) Tina Goldstein (+ wand, sausage) Credence Barebone (+ leaflet) Queenie Goldstein (+ wand, strudel) Jacob Kowalski (+ suitcase and pastries) Percival Graves (+ wand)
  28. Trust me, you don’t want him in your area.
  29. You're funny. It generally helps to know what you're talking about before you open you're mouth. You tend to look like less of an idiot when you do so. Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
  30. 1 point
RIP Joe Jackson and Joachim Low´s career.
  31. From the collection checklist sheet or whatever it's called it looks like Moody comes with a hairpiece from when he turns into Barty Crouch Jr., great touch. I'm assuming that means he has a double sided face as well. I really like the accessories for each character as well. Actually the only figure I don't like is Ron... looks way too old looks more like one of the older weasley brothers or even arthur weasley
  32. Sorry, I didn't realize that it was redcell posting - it all makes sense now.

I'd happily buy that and wear it to TRU every day until that hellhole is gone.
  34. Speaking as someone who works in a corporate legal department (albeit not one for a consumer products company), this post is completely uninformed. There are two things to understand about IP protection that I think are important here: (1) the need to go after infringers, and (2) the level of effort involved in going after infringers. On the first point, a company with IP rights has to be diligent in going after infringers or risks the possibility of a court finding that its failure to do resulted in a waiver of whatever IP rights it may have once had. This is why companies will draw hard lines against people like Brickshow who are infringing their rights for purpose of promoting their products. There are likely other concerns at play as well, but this is often a major driver in situations like this. On the second point, it is important to realize that it is much much easier to address infringement on a platform like Youtube than it is to go after an individual website or rogue manufacturer. Youtube had an entire compliance infrastructure built to respond to claims of infringement by rights holders because Google has deep pockets and doesn't want to get sued. Bottom line in this case is that Brickshow played with fire by posting watermarked pictures and got burned. It sucks for them and everyone who liked watching their videos, but there is no mystery to why it happened. Sent from my SM-G965U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

Yup...act within the next 3 hours 24 minutes (assuming Pacific time), or your Marvel listings will be deleted! Thanks for the heads up, Amazon.

  37. LEGO Shop at Home sale Down Under style!
  38. I want to like that post more than once.
  39. By the way ... The following statement appears on these envelopes: "This packaging is not for resale. EP13F"
  40. This was a funny find at TRU…
  41. I spent this morning building a pirate scene by combining some baseplates, three pirate sets (6253 – Shipwreck Hideout, 70412 – Soldiers Fort and 70413 – The Brick Bounty) and some mini-builds from the Fun at Beach set (60153). The letters that spell Dad were a Father’s Day present from my daughter. The build was a family affair with my son choosing a spot for the shipwreck set, my daughter placing the fort set and my wife suggesting the colors for the wave MOC for The Brick Bounty. The artwork on the boxes was a huge help for set placement - what part of each set goes on land and what goes into the water. For the waves MOC I opened the 10697 Large Creative Box I have been saving. I made a place for the back of the ship to rest on and an opening for the rudder. The Brick Bounty must be careful in the area because one ship has already gone down! While building it I saw the shark from one of the sets and my mind wandered to a scene in The Lego Movie, “There were sharks, laser sharks and then there were more sharks!”

Not Lego but my son wanted to do the Kinetic Foam gift he got for his birthday. I tried my best and this was the result. Lesson learned: Don't buy Kinetic Foam as a gift unless you hate the parents. LOL We both laughed so hard with the end result even though we were frustrated while doing it.
  43. They are just angry they have no power over people who review fake legos
