  3. Small bubble mailer to Canada is ~$9.50 up to 8 oz and includes tracking. Use an online postage service to print your labels and they will include the integrated customs form so no need to wait at the post office. There is no legitimate shipping option for parts from US to Canada that does not include tracking. Some sellers will try to game the rules and try to mail it as a "letter" but they are taking a risk that it either gets returned for inaccurate postage or shredded because "letters" are run through sorting machinery.

  12. As far as I am concerned if your building it who cares on the cardboard box. Even still these are not collectors items due,to mass production. Comic books, no room for error. Lego boxes, meh.

  13. Finished building it today. What a great set, no power functions yet. But the kids are having a blast. I'll have to incorporate it into the city amusement partk tomorrow. One of the best sets I think, as it brings to life something most, people have enjoyed. I hope the Ferris wheel retires soon, think I have 25 of those. Stellar theme.

  15. Was helping my wife with some work and drove past a couple of yard sales. Guy was selling sets bought for his daughter and she never opened them. $15 for a sealed Ninjago Lightning Dragon Battle #2521 $20 for a sealed Ninjago Fire Temple #2507. I was tempted at a third, but passed because it had been opened, was partially built, and the instructions were tattered. It was #2505 Garmadon's Dark Fortress, asking $15. I think I made the best choices.

  18. 3 Orders from LEGO LEGO Shop at Home to get the double promos, and I finally cleared out the last remaining BIONICLE sets (in decent condition, I left a few battered ones) from my local independent toy store for 15% under RRP . These have been a great find for me in the last months, they previously also had multiples of Tahu and the Kopaka & Melum Unity set, all still for under retail

  19. Built AOH and added it to the display. I’m pretty easy to please, but this didn’t really feel like a UCS set

  21. This is just beyond amazing. This trailer just ticked all of my expectations boxes. + main antagonist as a Lego Friends minifigure which majority of AFOLS hates and still considering as no "kosher" part of the LEGO lineup. - pefrect. I'm so pumped to see this next year. just give me Lando and his "where did you get that sweet space cape brother" and I'm going all-in.

  22. Just watched the trailer, and I like what I see so far. I really loved the original. Then I watched The Lego Batman Movie and I was not as excited about it because of how my expectations got set by the first movie. Then I watched The Lego Ninjago movie and I was somewhat irritated with that movie and felt the "Lego Movie" concept was dead. However, this sequel to the original looks nice because there's enough familiarity with the characters to tie back to the original but there's newness to the story and plenty of opportunity for cool sets that will pair with the release. I'm also glad that the music selection has changed from Taylor Swift "Bad Blood" junk to Beastie Boys "Intergalactic". That right there was enough to feel like we were back on track. The alien minifigure will be cool to have and I like the smooth designs of its ship. I'm in!

  30. I built the 70413 The Brick Bounty and it was a fun build that was not repetitive. The shark is missing (I bought set used on CL), is on order from BrickLink and roaming the high seas battling an alligator (in the background of the first picture) is not the same, unless you are sailing in the Florida Everglades or the Louisiana bayou. That imaginative play is beyond my scope and I am a completist. The sails really stand out and that is why I wanted this set. This set is a great alternative to the higher priced ships in the Pirate series, especially for those that got back into Lego a little late like I did and missed the 10210 Imperial Flagship, 6285 Black Seas Barracuda, and the 6243 Brickbeard’s Bounty. The minifigure selection is very good and I am a Pirate series fan! One minifigure is not in the photo, though I did have it (Pirate 4 - Vest and Anchor, Eyepatch ). The Pirate Captain almost looks like Captain Brickbeard, and in some ways looks even better. My only minor complaint with this set is it only comes with two cannons, not four – an easy mod and fix.

  31. Ninjago sets from a 90+ set purchase from a few weeks ago. No parts or minifigs were missing on these There were also some smaller Ninjago sets and a 9445 is missing 1 minifig. Thankfully I sold most of the Mega Blok in the lot for $155 to help offset the $175 buy-in. Next up from this lot are the large Star Wars sets.
