Picked up my holy grail set today at a local collectibles swap meet. Paid $145 for a near mint box. Hopefully Lego puts out some new Indy 1-3 sets when 5 hits but not this one

Went to Denmark with wife and kids over the May vacation and a visit to Billund was of course on the itinerary. One day visit to the first and original LEGOLAND park, with a very expensive Lego shop inside (so I didn't buy anything there), and another day spent inside the LEGO House, where I brought home these nice mint boxes.

Went on CL right after this went up for sale. Texted immediately and was on the road shortly there after. $25. Going to take them on my work road trip tomorrow and start sorting at the hotel.

I bought a leaf blower with $20 FREECASH and I get $15 back.

That is a MOC not the new TLG set.

Quite a few old sets have been reappearing over the last few days, but they seem to have stopped now. They are based in a UK Amazon centre - perhaps FBA seller's stock that has ended up back with Amazon with one reason or another. All at RRP so likely to stick around.

I really like it.. the price could be (of course! a bit lower) . but that is just life.. I will get it next year, when the initial dust settles..

I don´t care much for the fairground theme, but once has to admit that the rollercoaster does everything it should. It is functional and the cars don´t get stuck. Size and scale looks good too. I guess the good folk are just saturated with big Lego sets these days - 5 years ago people would have been dreaming about this.

Seems a legit price to me. You get much more bang for your buck than with SOH or any of the SW rehashes.
