Picked up a diverse group of sets this morning from Facebook Marketplace. 4184 - Black Pearl 8484 - Ultimate Build Lightning McQueen 7648 - MT-21 Mobile Mining Unit All three for $120. All 100% complete with all minifigs and instructions I have a BP in a bulk lot that I've never dug out. Seller had a few other random sets (Alien Conquest, Atlantis, City, Harry Potter) but nothing that tickled my fancy. They wanted $110 for 4842, but that just honestly doesn't leave a lot of meat on the bone if you look at recent prices. I've already flipped a 4842, so I'm good there. Anyway, fun sets. Now I have a second BP and I can eventually pull the other one out and sell it off (it's also 100% complete).

Sold my Minifigure Factory and Darth Vader Pod on Bricklink. $35 back from a $90 order. Not bad.

I thought the same thing then I saw the side view with dimensions. I think that it can get around easily when fully loaded. It might be challenging when there are no Minifigs, but the drops and rises of the hills make sense from my experience building coasters on RCT and from seeing a few coasters in my time. ? Technic 40th...kind of.

I would be all over the race sets for my daughter, except that with the changes LEGO has made to the characters, they lost my daughter's interest. She really loved the characters they had already developed (LEGO sets, cartoons, etc.) Her attitude is kind of like she's lost a friend. I was shocked when I recently took her to the LEGO store for her birthday and she didn't want a single friends set. She ended up getting an older set. She's only 10, so I guess we'll see what happens in the next year or so when the last of the previous sets hit EOL. I tried to explain the character diversity LEGO was going for, but my daughter didn't see it that way. She had fallen in love with the previous characters. Now they're all gone. So as of right now, LEGO has lost my daughter's interest in the entire friends theme.

Bzzzzzzt, sorry but you are wrong. A roller coaster infused with the Pirate theme is some nice 'out of the box' thinking that we were hoping LEGO would bring us more of. This is one to keep an eye on for sure.
