  1. Lol.....had that happen before. Same buyer kept sending the same stupid low, as in 50%+ off low. Finally I countered above my listing price and he stopped.

  6. It’s actually a common tactic, at least what I’ve found. Buyer harasses seller with the same lowball offer, hoping to wear them down. Doesn’t usually work, but when it does they win and we lose. I block them if it happens more than once or twice. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  10. A buildable Super Battle Droid & 501st Clone Trooper + ATRT. As a collector of these, I'm pretty gutted they aren't coming. Shame we never got Leia & the Droids, too. They were probably cancelled for a number of reasons - Some were a bit weak, they weren't really Lego & generally just not selling well. They were clearing K2SO & Death Troopers for £5 at Smyths.

  15. Yup, I agree with you and @Val-E that both 10247 (FW) and 75827 (GBHQ) are high likely to retire by end of this year. So ... a list of the "Hard to Find Items" on LEGO Shop at Home that have a high chance to retire would be: 75827 GBHQ 75060 Slave-1 10247 FW 10243 PR 10242 Mini Cooper And ... if 21137 (Minecraft Mountain Cave) follows the same pattern of 21128 The Village, then 21137 will retire by end of 2018 like 21128 retired by end of 2017.

  20. I made the mistake of not removing “best offer” on one my ebay listings. Same experience. If I wanted to sell for half my asking price, I would list on CL and save the fees.

  21. I have done this twice where it was obvious that they had missed a space or added extra information like an extra town or state. Both times I have contacted the buyer and received a response so at least I had some documentation. Have not had any problems. If this were on a large order, I would not go through with it until the buyer made the change, but on a $20 or less order, it's probably worth the risk especially if you get some sort of response.

  22. gate came down 8/26/2016. if you sold a certain amount of LEGO before this date you were grandfathered in. if you had an account which had been dormant for LEGO selling for years, you might have been gated out. the gate thus far is impenetrable unless you are an authorized LEGO reseller with a letter from TLG + $1000 fee to Jeff. no that won't work but it might get your ENTIRE amazon selling account banned. only practical way to sell lego on amazon now would be to try and buy someone's amazon store that is grandfathered in. i predict we will see such sales in the next few years as some sellers get out of the game. it is extremely lucrative selling on amazon with strongest leveraging of your efforts with respect to number of sales and price per sale and almost no time packaging individual boxes or dealing with customer service (at least in my experience). even a small time person like me can move 5 digits in weekly sales during the holiday insanity and ability to sell LEGO and other gated toys on amazon will be worth thousands of dollars to the next generation of reseller scum when I finally tire of the smell of post camping weekend sleeping bag fart that greets me every time i walk into walmart to go hunting. you can read about it all starting here:

  24. Check your offerbases people, this was the most generous storewide points back offer I've seen online in a LONG time. "Members get $20 CASHBACK in points when you spend $40 or more at select Kmart Stores. Points awarded next day and valid for 14 days. Max 20,000 Points per Member. INSTORE and ONLINE" *might* be dependent on what you set as your local store

  26. What he is saying is that you basically have to be an authorized retailer to sell LEGO if you weren't grandfathered in a couple years ago. There's a whole thread on Amazon FBA that should catch you up.

  27. I'd better get selling then! Seriously though, this isn't just any old OT X-Wing. This is POE'S X-Wing. Completionists will want it, no matter what other X-Wing happens to be currently available.

  28. Interesting to note how it's almost exclusively Americans posting here. Either Europeans just don't get good deals (worthy enough to post here) or Europeans are more secretive about the good discounts they find. I wonder which is true...

  31. Built 4842 with my 5yo from a bulk buy. Still need to find all the figs floating around in the bulk before I list it up for sale. My kid built most of it while I pulled the pieces for him. He loves Lego just like his daddy!

  34. I don't usually post in this thread, but I couldn't resist this time. A very nice gentleman (ex-Lego employee), presented these four sets for sale on FB. He was very generous and accepted $500 for all of them. Now I'm torn......keep or sell?? My kids are drooling!!

  35. I feel this Black Card VIP program is similar to the Last Jedi. Sounded good until we saw the actual implementation. Lego took a page out of Rian Johnsonson's playbook and trolled everyone.

  36. You might even get it for less if it comes into the SAH 50% sale, but that´s by no means guaranteed. 190-200 is doable.

  37. Logic says that the Porsche will go first as big Technic sets only last 2.5 years and the Chiron will be out in the summer. Ass Square should be the last, but you never know if Lego will spring another Town Hall on us due to poor sales. There is still time to get all of these sets but if you see one at a good discount (e.g. Target Ass Square mistake) then don´t procrastinate.
