Such a drag. I'm going to make one last trip today and walk every isle. Not looking for deals, purely sentimental.

I had my friend, a Star Wars collector, text me excitedly saying we need to watch the stores in our region. I told him I’d give him the skinny, but not to expect much. He called me a Debbie Downer.

You sound pretty salty. There were 594 contributions amounting to $40,000. I don't know the total number of tickets sold, but I would imagine, we all had the exact same holds to win something. I don't know how many tickets you bought, or when, but wasn't it all for a cause? You sound like a conspiracy theorist, and there's no call for it. It's not like ed and Jeff were the winners and kept the money for themselves. Honestly, I could have taken the money I spent on tickets and bought myself a nice set, but this was for kids and it's because someone who has put a lot of work into a site that has allowed me to make money asked.

For fans of the original Tron: A kind of obscure toy company in Japan called "Medicom" released a great series of Tron collectibles under their "Kubrick" line. They were only released in Asia and are rare here in the states. You can sometimes find them on ebay for a reasonable price. I have two of the sets. Great packaging and very accurate to the movie. Google it.

seriously doubt speed champions is getting dropped. pretty sure its only a tru exclusive in north america. you can buy speed champions directly from amazon in the uk and europe. speed champions might possibly end up being shop at home exclusive in usa which in the end might actually be a good thing for investors living close to a lego store since there will be limited avenues for buying them. actually all the tru exclusive sets from various themes will be more attractive as investments if there are going to be that much fewer places to get them . i just don't see Target and Walmart opening up already contracting lego shelf space for a new theme when they are already cutting back space. i spend very little at tru since the nearest 2 are both 56 miles away.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound salty. I was just confused and didn't really understand because Ed said that half the winners bought the tickets that day. But now that I think long and hard about it, I realized that over 25% of the 40,000 was raised on the last day. So, it makes sense that at least 25% or more of the winners bought tickets on the last day. I did buy a few tickets but only because I don't have much money and most of the money was my profits from last year(which I don't mind). This site has helped me so I wanted to help the kids. I was just not paying attention and thinking about the winning stats and stuff. Well, I'm cleared up now and fully understand.

They pretty much nailed it. Everyone from old trilogy is dead except for Leia. Paradox. In episod 9 J.J will introduce the background of her story that she was a projection of herself from the past, that's why she was able to fly in dead space, survive multiple explosions near herself etc. and everyone will love that lazy ass explanation because it will tick all the boxes and will give a "logic" explanation to majority of the scenes from ep 8. So if Luke was able to trick "Ken" with his hyper-mult-ispace projection so does the Leia. The end. roll the credits. no cashback allowed. merch is selling like craze. Since I started rolling up with my own cart and boxes I've had multiple people ask me what aisle the ________ s are in as if I work there. And a few days ago I had about 60 sets loaded up and asked an employee if she had any more in back... She asked me if there was a recall- because she thought I was there to remove all the Lego stock.
